Beth was crying. I couldn't see anything because of the blindfolds they put on us.

"Do you brats have any phones?" The man in the back with us asked. When we failed to answer, I heard the sound of flesh colliding with flesh, and then Beth's shriek.

"Well? Are you stupid brats going to answer?" The man raised his voice. I knew if we didn't answer, they would do something much worse than slapping us.

"No," I said quietly.

"Yeah, two teenaged girls without cell phones. Because that is believable." Then something unbelievable happened; My butt rang. Well, my phone was in my back pocket, and it rang.

"No cell phone, huh, brat?" the man asked. I could feel him glaring at me.

"Nope, no phone here."

"Really? I know you have a phone stupid." the man hesitated. "Well go ahead, answer it!" I paused hoping that it would stop vibrating. I knew it was Tyler. I told him to call me so we could figure out when we were going to meet at the movies.

"Now!" he shouted. "Before it stops ringing!" I gradually slid my hand to my pocket, hoping that it would stop buzzing. I reached my phone.

"H-Hello?" I answered in a croaky voice. The man quickly grabbed the phone, turned it to speaker, and gave it back before Tyler could respond.

"Hey, its me."

"Look I-I can't talk right now."

"Oh, well when are we going to meet at the movies tomorrow?" he asked.

"I umm... I cant go." I was unsure of what to say. Well, it's not every day that there is a gun pointing on your head, and every single word you say depends on your life.

"Why not?" Tyler asked. He was just is not the kind of person who just let's things go without a reason. He always has to know the details.

"I just can't, okay?"

"Is that thing more important than the movie watching with the special friend?" he laughed.

"Yes, it is actually. M-maybe we can go another time." my voice was too shaky.

"Well, okay. Can you at least tell me what the more important thing is?" I could tell Tyler was becoming a little more concerned and upset. I could feel the gun on my head. If I were to say something wrong my brain would be blown to bits. (You're welcome for that visual)

"Well, um... my family is having a special dinner."

"Bree, your family has dinner together every night."

"Well tomorrow is a very special dinner. Look Tyler, we can go to the movies some other time, but I really have to go!"

"Where are you goin-"

"Tyler! I will explain everything to you some other time, okay?" I cut him off because that would mean another 10 minutes of trying to explain everything again.

"Okay, okay. Then I'll talk to you later, right?"

"Right. Bye."

"Bye Bree." I quickly hung up before he could say anything else. I realized that that was probably the last time I would ever talk to Tyler again.

"Why did he call you Bree? Who is he?!" the man demanded.

"He uh, called me Bree because it is my nickname. He is just a friend." I explained.

"Why would you need a nickname if your name is already short?" he asked.

"I-I don't know, I guess it is just a name he likes to call me." I replied.

"Whatever."

'Where is your phone girl?!" the man next to me asked her. I knew Beth was afraid to answer.

"Its in my pocket."

"Which one?" he asked. It took her a couple of seconds until she answered.

"All of them"

"Wait what?" I chuckled trying to keep it quiet.

"I-I mean my right pocket." she corrected herself.

"Well are you going to get it, or what?"

"Do you want me to get it?" she asked.

"If I didnt want it then why would I ask where it is?" I could tell the man was getting irritated. I think Beth was just trying to buy us some time. Time for what, stupid? The mean voice in my head shot back.

"So you do want me to get it?" she asked trying to sound stupid.

"YES!!" the man shouted.

"Okay." Beth said. I heard her moving around.

"This is a toy phone idiot! Where is your real phone?" Again i chuckled quietly. Tony had given Beth that phone. He had one too, and they always carried them around, just because.

"This is my only "real" phone." she shouted nervously. I knew she had her real phone with her. She had turned it off when we got to Eat The Tacos.

"Why do you carry around a stupid phone that was build for kids under 3?" the man shouted so loudly it reminded me of when my mother used to yell at me when I put mud pies on the kitchen counter. The next sounds I heard made my heart stop. I heard a very plastic breaking and a very pained scream.

The van pulled to a stop about 10 minutes later. They shoved me out of the van and into a dark...something. I was still blindfolded, so all i knew was that they brought me somewhere dark. When they took my blindfold off, I immediately looked for Beth. A door opened and the driver walked in carrying a very bloody Bethany. She was unconscious, and had a horrible gash on her forehead. Blood was still gushing out. She desperately needed medical attention.

I screamed. I kept screaming for over 20 minutes. Even when they shoved me into a very small closet-sized room, I didn't stop screaming and crying.

By the time night fell, my throat was raw. My eyes were crusty and groggy from the dried tears. I was exhausted. The last thing I wanted to do was sleep in this place, but there was no way I had any strength to rebel against this kidnapping. I crawled under the covers of the twin-sized bed, and cried myself to sleep. But I had an even worse nightmare than the one I was living.
