The girls were amazing. I couldn't wait until the show was over though. I wanted to spend time with Anna. Tonights a special night, and i'm glad that she's here to spend it with me.
"What are you gonna do?" Jerome asked me.
"I don't know"
"Tonight is special."
"I know."
"Do you think she remembers?"
"Probably not."
"How could she not?"
"A lot of things have happened to her that she tries to forget. And sometimes, the things she wants to remember slip away too."
"Oh."
"Yeah." I reply, looking out the car window. We were going to pick the girls up from dinner."
"Um........." I could tell Jerome was uncomfortable. "So you ready for the Hunger Deans Biggums?"
"Yeah, you?"
"I'm gonna win."
I smiled. "In your dreams, Biggums."
