EVERITT
The sun had started to set on the horizon once Everitt and Danai had finished unpacking his car. Instead of stinking of dust and mildew, the cabin seemed fresh and taken care of. Everitt took full credit for having the forethought to send up the cleaning crew that took care of the place to make sure everything was in order the day before, especially when he noticed Nai running her hands over the different surfaces in the place.
"It's so cosy!" She picked up a beige throw pillow and hugged it to her chest, grinning at Everitt. Nai spun around slowly, which made Everitt chuckled. "You really come here all the time?"
He put a grocery bag onto the polished wood dining table, "At least a few times a year."
In a way that was more alluring than Everitt ever thought it would be, Nai caressed the sofa as she smiled at him, sitting back against the back of it. Ev, usually calm and collected, felt his heart start to race, and he could barely contain his urge to gather her up in his arms and kiss her senseless. Nai's scent seemed heightened, the floral notes invading his nostrils and leaving him almost lightheaded.
"You look beautiful today," Ev told her, closing the distance between them in a few steps. Enjoying the feeling of her cashmere sweater as his hands encircled her waist, he placed a kiss on her neck, then her cheek, before finally meeting her mouth with his. "I don't think I've told you yet how beautiful you look."
The grin Nai aimed at him did something to Everitt, and he kissed her several more times, nipping at her bottom lip and delving his tongue into her mouth. Eventually, she pulled away, gasping for air.
"Someone's excited," Nai laughed once she'd caught her breath. She placed her hands on his chest and searched Everitt's gaze. It would have been impossible for him to miss the way her nose twitched. The dark of her eyes grew as she stared up at him, "You..."
Before Nai could speak, Everitt pulled her close and kissed her again. His tongue ran across her bottom lip, dragging a whine from the omega. Nai's grip on his shirt tightened, and her balled up fists collected chunks of the fabric, possibly wrinkling the material of his hoodie. Everitt didn't care though, his only concern being getting as close to her as humanly possible.
Everitt usually enjoyed taking his time, savouring every inch of his girlfriend's body, taking in her expressions, seeing how he could make her whine or moan like that again. Today, though, his body seemed to be in charge, and he just wanted to have his mouth on hers, and his hands all over her body.
"Wait, wait..." Nai managed to pull away after several kisses, which left her breathless. Everitt held her close, kissing at her neck and collarbone. He scented her when he was able to as well, which earned him an odd look from the omega in his arms.
"What's wrong?" Ev asked her when their eyes met. Even then, that wasn't for long before his lips descended onto the skin of her jaw, placing gentle kisses along it.
Danai swallowed, closing her eyes in an attempt to focus on their conversation. "Uh... Mm... I feel like I should be asking you that...?"
His tongue darted out, and he nipped and sucked on this one spot right below Nai's jaw, effectively making her close what little distance was left between them. Everitt smiled to himself before he grabbed Nai's thighs and lifted her up, inviting her to lock herself around his waist. A low growl rumbled in his throat, and Everitt kissed Nai on the mouth before looking at her once again.
"No more talking."

About an hour later, Nai had turned the bed they'd embraced each other on into a table for a card game. She pulled up the sleeves of Everitt's oversized collegiate sweater, the one she loved because it was the softest he owned and bigger than all of hers. Sitting up against the pillows while Everitt laid on his back, Nai shuffled the cards for a game of ERS.
