Carter slams to the floor, from who knows how far. He's bruised, he broke a few things in a few places, and is bleeding. He cries when he hits the floor.
"AUGH! MOTHERFUCKER!" He screams. He crawls around the cave, looking at his surroundings. He cries for help, as any sane person would, but nobody would come. He looked for his bag but realized it had fallen off him as he had hit the rock. "Shit... I'm stuck here... forever..." He mumbles. His vulnerable, and hoarse voice echoes. Carter wanted to survive this. For the next few days, he finds bugs to eat alive, a stream to drink from, and sets up an area to live in, all in three days.
At this point, it's the fourth day of being stuck in this hell. Then Carter wonders:
Is it even worth it to survive?
It was a good thing to ask himself. All his life he had been rejected, hated, bullied, mocked, and was the laughingstock of his community. Would they treat him better if he somehow got out? It would be out of pity, sorrow, and just to seem like a sane being like he gets from his family and therapist. Artificial love. It had to be genuine care. He had never experienced it and wanted it more than anyone knew.
"I'm gonna stop trying... Just despite all these dipshits in my life! T-There's no point!"
Just then, as he had finished talking to himself, a very deadly-looking spider had walked by.
This is my way out..!
Carter picked it up, then squished it, not too hard to kill it, but just to aggravate it.
"Take me." He whispers. The spider bites, its venom coursing through his veins. He winced in pain, and soon enough, he was passed out on the cold, stone floor, dead.
