Episode 12

Ling Pov

I don't know what got into me. I cried a lot and now sitting on my office couch while hugging my knees. 

I heard a knock on the door. I got up and wipe my face with a towel and put a fake smile on my face. 

I opened the door and saw Bow standing there. I moved to give her space to come in. She came inside and locked the door then she grabbed my wrist and we sat on the couch. 

"Tell me, what's wrong with you, you're not the person I used to know, you don't have any of the fun and laughter you used to have." She held my hand and stroked it slowly. I took a breath.

"Ling, you know I'm always here to listen to you." She said. I looked into her eyes. 

"I like her but I can never open it up to her." I blurted out. 

"Orm?" She asked. I hummed. 

"This is what I felt when I saw your gaze on her but what is the reason not to open up." 

She asked confused.

"You know why, I promised my parents that I would marry only the girl they decide." She sighed. 

"But we don't know who that girl is, how can we find her with only the name Norawan and there is a possibility that she is married to someone else." I shook my head in denial.

"But I feel, she is still waiting for me and that we are going to meet soon." I said like a whisper. 

She took a deep breath. 

"So what about Orm?" She snapped. I smiled a little painfully.

"She is the one who won my heart at first sight but not everyone's first love is successful. I'm one of them the difference is that I can't even express my love to her. She likes Dr. Kwong as a friend but doesn't like me as Ling Sirilak. We have different paths. She gave her love to Wisanu. Here I am waiting for someone I haven't met yet. What a funny life." I chuckled.

She hugged me tightly without saying anything. I wouldn't say I like crying in front of anyone, I try to hide my pain from everyone but today I can't do it somehow. 

I need someone close to me right now, I feel like my life is fading away. I cried on her shoulder like a baby. 

I don't know how long I cried when I was exhausted I fell asleep on her shoulder.

 I slowly opened my eyes when I felt a small tap on my cheek. My eyes started to hurt due to crying. I slowly sat up. 

"Ling, you better go home, it's getting late, don't you have dinner at Sethratanapong's house." I looked at the clock on the wall it was 6 o'clock. 

Son will kill me if I go late today. 

I quickly got up and went to the bathroom to wash my face, freshen up and quickly put all my things in my bag. I went to Bow hugged her and thanked her.

"I'm very tired now, call me if you need anything. I will also go to the apartment." She said. 

She kissed me on the cheek and left. I grabbed my bag and ran to the parking lot. I got into the car and went home. 

When I opened the door and went inside, I saw Sonya sitting on the couch with nail polish on her hand. 

She didn't look at me instead she told me to take a quick shower and get ready. 

I went to the room, took a quick shower, changed my dress and came downstairs.

Sonya Pov

When P'Ling came, we got into the car and went to Sethratanapong's house. P'Ling was silent throughout the drive.

"P'Ling, are you okay?" I looked at her. 

"Yes, what's up?" She said. 

"Nothing, it's like there's something wrong with you." I caress her cheek.

She looked at me with a smile and looked back at the road. 

"No, the work is a bit heavy and there is no time to relax."

"Oh OK" I know she's lying. 

"We have arrived."

After saying that she parked the car and we got out, before P'Ling rang the bell someone opened the door. 

I was shocked to see the person who opened the door.

"Not you"
