Youjin Kinoshita's POV
The following morning after that encounter with the asteroid, I suddenly started to feel really hungry, like I had the urge to eat anything...
I remember after walking out of the forest and back to the apartment I started to get really hungry so I went into the convenience store to get a bag of chips and some cookies which is odd because I felt more hungry after eating Hayashi sans cooking 2 hours prior to going out.
As I got out of bed and walked over to get changed I noticed in the mirror that something was odd with my body. I still had the bruises my classmates gave me after President Susami ordered them to assault me but what took my interest was I looked different.
I had gained some muscles and gotten a bit taller, did something happen while I was asleep? I mean I did go for jogs now and then around the area but I doubt it could've given me muscles that easily.
Before I could try and figure that out my stomach started growing a bit, I was really hungry. I Was really hungry, so after getting changed I was about to go find Hayashi san since she usually prepares breakfast for me or if she wasn't in I would go out to find my own source of breakfast.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
I heard a knock at the door, after looking through the peephole I breathed a sigh of relief after seeing it was just Hayashi san with breakfast. So I opened the door to let her in.
"Good morning Kinoshita-"
Hayashi san greeted me before she stopped mid sentence as she noticed something off about me.
"Eh, did you grow overnight or something? You're taller than me!" She jokingly said.
"Yea, well I don't know how. But it seems I grew overnight, how suspicious." I responded before allowing her to come in. "Come on in, I'm actually starving. It smells delicious." I said before closing the door.
After sitting down at the table with the breakfast Hayashi brought over, we decided to dig in.
"Itadakimasu!" We said in unison.
As we dug in, something felt different about me. Usually I eat slowly and take my time but this time I was eating rather quickly, devouring it down like an animal feasting on its prey. Was I really that hungry?
Hayashi-san seemed to notice this odd behaviour and decided to comment on it.
"Kinoshita-kun, please take your time. There's plenty more if you're that hungry." She said, in her caring voice.
"Ah, sorry Hayashi-san, I'm just really hungry, I don't know why..." I said before I even noticed that I finished my breakfast within not even a minute, something clearly was different about me. First the grown height, the extra muscles and now an appetite.
What's going on? How did this happen overnight? Ah man I'll have to figure that out later, right now one thing is important. Revenge...
A few hours later.
It was now the afternoon, I was on my laptop busy setting up my revenge plan with the footage I captured with my drones. As I put together my revenge video with the footage I suddenly felt something in my stomach.
*"Growl....."*
Ugh, again? This is the second time I've gotten hungry after eating a lot earlier, something is really wrong with me honestly. Did I develop some sort of eating disorder? Anyway, I guess I'll go get something to eat.
After putting on my sunglasses, facemask and hooded jacket to conceal my identity, I headed out into the streets to go get something to eat. Thankfully it was a tuesday so everyone was either at school or work so it wasn't that busy, so that lessened the chance of running into someone I knew...
After arriving at a convenience store, I looked at the snack aisle and decided to pick out what to have. Lets see, gummy's, candy, cookies, chips....
As I was choosing my options for some reason my left arm reached out to grab 2 bars of chocolate, but it wasn't me who moved my arm?
"What the?"
I said in confusion as I pulled my arm back with the 2 chocolate bars in my hand, just what the hell happened!? Now my arms were moving on their own? Ah man things just got more confusing!
As I paid for the 2 chocolates as well as an energy drink and a bag of chips, I left the store, making my way back to the apartment.
*BZZZ* *BZZZ*
My phone began ringing in my pocket, I froze for a moment, who was calling me? Was it my ex-girlfriend? My former friend? Or my former family members!?
Oh, it's just Hayashi-san.
I breathed a sigh of relief, I had given Hayashi-san my phone number in case of emergencies, since I had gained her trust after she seemed to be a good person and did not turn me into the police or something.
I answered and began to speak to her.
"Hey Hayashi-San, you need something?" I asked.
*"Kinoshita-Kun, uhhh listen, something has come up so I'll be back late tonight. Can you make your own dinner?"*
"Sure, I can go out and buy some stuff to eat, I have a disguise after all so no one will recognize me." I replied.
As I continued talking with Hayashi san on the phone while walking back, I heard something that would change my life drastically...
"Youjin..." *A voice said in my head.*
