Chandni sat by the serene pond, its glassy surface reflecting the soft hues of the sky. The air was fragrant with the scent of lotus flowers, their delicate pink petals unfurling like whispers of nature's poetry. The gentle ripples danced in the water as if sharing secrets with the wind, and Chandni felt a strange, unspoken connection to the blooms.

She gazed at the lotuses, their beauty captivating her heart. A soft sigh escaped her lips, and for a moment, she felt lost in the stillness, as if time itself had paused to share this moment with her. The sun cast a warm glow, gilding the petals and turning the water into molten gold. The tranquility filled her, but deep within, questions stirred—questions she couldn't quite put into words.

The sound of soft footfalls interrupted her reverie, and she looked up to see Krishna approaching, his smile as radiant and enigmatic as ever. He walked with an effortless grace, the peacock feather in his crown swaying slightly in the breeze.

"Lost in thoughts, Chandni?" Krishna's voice was as soothing as the gentle lapping of the water.

She offered a small smile, moving aside so he could sit beside her. "I don't know why, but these lotuses... they feel familiar, like a part of me I can't remember."

Krishna's eyes sparkled with a knowing glint as he sat beside her, the hem of his royal blue garment brushing against the grass. "There is a reason for everything, dear one," he said, looking out at the flowers. "In time, you will come to understand the bond you share with them. The lotus is not just a flower; it holds stories, resilience, and purity—much like you."

Chandni's heart fluttered with curiosity and a touch of unease. "Why do I feel that my presence here is more than just fate, Govind? What am I truly meant to do?"

Krishna turned to face her, his expression softening with affection. "Ah, Chandni, your questions will find their answers. Just know this—you are here to change the course of destiny, to remind the world of dharma in ways even the gods will marvel at."

A pause lingered between them, filled only by the whispers of the wind and the gentle rustling of leaves. Chandni felt a warmth spread through her chest as Krishna continued, "But be prepared, for the path will not be without consequence."

She frowned, a flicker of worry shadowing her eyes. "And if we do change the epic? Will there be repercussions, deadly ones?"

Krishna's smile faded into a more serious expression. "Yes, every action ripples through the realms, changing what was written. But remember, no matter what unfolds, your Govind will always be with you."
