It had been almost a month and a half since Zain's arrival, and many of the ceremonies in Pakistan had already been completed. Only the Mehndi ceremony was left, and after that, the wedding. There were a lot of preparations going on at home, and now there were only two days left for the Mehndi ceremony. Amal had taken full responsibility for the arrangements for this ceremony, as she was an expert at decorating the house.
Amal heard a voice from behind her. When she turned around, she saw Zain standing there. Zain approached her and said, “Are you some kind of robot?”
Amal squinted slightly and replied, “No, why?”
Zain asked, "Because you’ve been working nonstop since morning. Don’t you get tired?"
Zain was concerned about Amal, and he didn’t want her to be overburdened with work.
Amal smiled slightly and responded, “No, I enjoy doing all this.
But still, there are so many servants here...”zain said pointing her at servants
Before Zain could complete his sentence, Amal asked, “What’s your problem with me working? If you like it so much, then come and help me yourself.”
"Okay, now I’ll have to work too," Zain said, scratching his head.
"Yes, I knew that, that's why you're a professor," Amal replied softly from inside.
But Zain heard her and asked, "What do you mean by that?"
"I knew you wouldn’t help, just lecture me," Amal said, and then, continuing with her task, she climbed back onto the stool to arrange the flowers.
"Wait a second," Zain said, rolling up his shirt sleeves. "Are you saying I don’t know how to do anything? Let me make it clear to you that I am skilled in every task. I’m an all-rounder. Zain Khan has every quality, and there isn’t a single one that’s hidden from me. Have you heard that?"
"Oh, so that’s what it is," Amal said, raising her eyebrows. She then picked up the basket of flowers and threw it towards Zain, saying, "Well then, show me your skills!"
"Oh, so you’re challenging me?" Zain said. "Alright then," and with that, he climbed onto the stool too, and they both started decorating the flowers together.
When Amal saw that Zain was decorating the flowers well, she said to him, “Wow, you really do a great job with decorations.
"I told you, I’m skilled at everything",Zain said with a hint of pride.
“Hmmm, very impressive. By the way, you make really good coffee too,” Amal said.
“It’s not just coffee; I make really good food too,” Zain replied, looking at Amal.
“Really? Then your girlfriend must be very lucky,” Amal remarked.
Hearing this, Zain looked at her and said, “Yes, but she doesn’t know it.”
“What do you mean?” Amal asked, with a slightly puzzled look.
“Forget it, it’s nothing,” Zain said, letting out a long sigh as he glanced at her.
After that, Amal continued talking, and Zain, while decorating the flowers, kept glancing at her. He started thinking that the girl Amal was talking about was actually her.
At that moment, Zain made a decision. No matter what happens now, he would tell Amal everything and make her his.
He had decided that on the day of the Mehndi ceremony, he would propose to Amal, because Amal had completely captured Zain’s heart and mind, and he couldn’t imagine being without her anymore.
