Chapter 10

"Taehyung walked downstairs carefully. as he felt irritated because he couldn't sleep last night. he hated how stressful his pregnancy was.

"first his nightmares didn't let him sleep. and then his baby started kicking. keeping him up all night.

"he hated this feeling. he hates the mood swings as well. he knew he was already at his last month of delivering. he would be giving birth any day from now. but it's funny how he's not excited to meet his unborn child. he doesn't want this baby. a child of a rapist. a child of the man that turned his life upside down in just one night. he hates this child as much as he hates the unknown father of the child as well.

"he signed as he walked into the kitchen to get himself something to eat. but he halts when he saw his mom in the kitchen already making breakfast.

oh tae" you're just in time. breakfast is ready. Mrs Kim says smiling widely at her son who smiled back too. he went and hug his mother making Mrs Kim  to  chuckle lightly.

"I mish you eomma. taehyung. whined with a pout. as Mrs Kim rubs his back gently with a smile. I miss you too tae.

common" seat here and have your food while I go wake Jimin up. Mrs Kim says. guiding taehyung to the dining table and setting pancakes with a glass of water in front of him.

"taehyung nodded as he focused his attention to his food on the table. he took a bite of the pancake as he sighed at the taste. he missed his mother's cooking and now he gets to taste her handmade pancakes.

"Hmm" someone is enjoying himself without us. Jimin says very close to the males ear startling taehyung who jump a little because of the sudden voice.

"taehyung glared at Jimin with a cute pout on his lips. making Mrs Kim and Jimin to coo at him.

you're so adorable. Jimin says pinching the male's cheeks lightly.

taehyung swat his hand away as he chew his pancakes cutely. while glaring at Jimin.

" Jimin stop teasing my son. Mrs Kim says while ruffling the male's hair.

Jimin chuckles as him and Mrs Kim took their seat. while serving themselves. good thing today is Sunday because it looks like you didn't slept at all tae. Mrs Kim says softly looking at the drooping eyes of her son. and the eye bags under his eyes.

"is it the nightmares again? Mrs Kim asked in a softer tone.

"yeah" I guess there's no escape from the nightmares. taehyung says with a frown. Mrs Kim sighed sadly. I'm sorry tae. I know it's hard now. but I promise with time it's going to get better. Mrs Kim says but flinched when taehyung yelled.

"it's never going to get better. it's never going to be okay. and I don't want to talk about it anymore. let's just eat. taehyung says already loosing his appetite.

Mrs Kim was about to say something when Jimin cut her off. shaking his head asking her not to trigger the male. Mrs Kim quietly nodded with a sigh. she wished her son can get better. she knows it's going to be hard to bring back the old taehyung. but she hopes her son will gets better with time.

"just then the door bell rang. pulling everyone from their thoughts. I will get it. Jimin says getting up. he walked to the door and opened it. only to blush when he saw who was at the door.

"go..good morning Mr Jeon. Jimin says shyly. morning  jimin" how was your night? Jungkook asked giving the male a small smile.

"it was nice. how was yours? Jimin asked with a squeak. making  jungkook  to chuckle. mine was splendid. is Mrs Kim and taehyung home? ye..yeah please come in. Jimin moved away to let jungkook in. who muttered a small thank you before making his way inside.

"good morning" jungkook says when he saw Mrs Kim and taehyung at the dining table eating their breakfast.

oh jungkookie " good morning son. you're just in time for breakfast. Mrs Kim says getting up to set something for jungkook too.

o..oh" jungkook. taehyung called with a pout. jungkook smiled a little and settled himself beside taehyung. Jimin joined them too as Mrs Kim walked out with jungkook's food. here" taste it. I know you will like it Mrs Kim says. making jungkook to smile.

"thanks ma" jungkook says before taking a bite from the food. there all waited for his reaction with anticipation as he chew slowly.

"Hmm" taste good ma" I really love it. jungkook says with a small smile. Making Mrs Kim to smile back too.

"so jungkook " Jimin called out shyly. do you have a girlfriend or a fiance? Jimin asked with a blush making taehyung and Mrs Kim to stare at jungkook with curiosity. taehyung really wanted to know if jungkook truly have someone. he noticed he has never asked jungkook or knew anything much about jungkook. yet jungkook was a part of his life.

Jungkook sighed with a small smile before saying. I'm still single. making Jimin to sigh in relief. but he smile quickly wiped off when jungkook continued.

"although I'm single. but there's someone special I'm interested in. Jungkook says. but he didn't know his words affected not just Jimin but taehyung as well.

"taehyung can't tell why he was feeling that way but he wasn't happy knowing that jungkook has someone special in his heart. his chest felt heavy. making him feel suffocated. he played with his food as he heard Jimin sighed with disappointment.

"so do you have a brother that looks exactly like you?
Jimin asked again making jungkook to chuckle. you know I'm single and you're exactly my type. but too bad you already have someone in mind. Jimin says while staring at jungkook with heart eyes. Making jungkook to laugh.

"common Jimin leave the man alone, Mrs Kim says as she flicks jimin's chin making him to pout.

it's okay ma" and Jimin I don't have any siblings. Jungkook says as he took a glance at taehyung who was too quiet. making jungkook wander what he was thinking.

well I think I will just give up on having my dream man then. Jimin says with a sigh. making Mrs Kim and jungkook to chuckle.

don't be sad Jimin you will definitely get someone who's meant for you when the time comes. Mrs Kim says as she roughed his hair. making Jimin to node his head quickly.

"excuse me. I need to use the bathroom. taehyung says as he quickly rushed out making all of them to stare at him in worry.

Jungkook sat there in deep thoughts as he stared into the empty space taehyung was sitting few seconds ago.
