"I have no idea what grandma puts in her apple pies, but I'm addicted to it."
jisung said with his mouth full.

they were currently hiding in mae's cage so no one would see them, while mae was peacefully laying down.

minho sprayed more whipped cream on his piece.
"I gotta agree with you on that. I haven't had her apple pie since I was thirteen, and now I feel like I have to have it every day."

"I always wondered what is with grandmas and their baking and cooking obsession. you know, whenever you visit your grandma, you're leaving thirty pounds heavier."
jisung said, cutting himself another piece with his little fork and putting it into his mouth.

"I guess it just runs in the genes?"
minho said.

"probably. it's a shame men don't have those. I would love to bake if I actually knew how."

"baking is easy. you just gotta follow the recipe."
minho shrugged.
"the same with cooking as well."

"one time I was trying to make brownies, because felix gave me the recipe for his, and I almost burnt my kitchen down. if I took the brownies out of the oven just a second later, I would have fire in my kitchen on my hands."
jisung said.

"what did you even do?"
minho asked with a small chuckle.

"hey, don't laugh at me."
jisung smacked Minhos arm.
"I actually have no idea what I did wrong. I'm probably just anti talent when it comes to things in the kitchen."

"then you should marry someone who can actually cook so you don't starve to death."
minho said.

"oh don't worry, I'm planning on marrying a very rich man and living that stay at home wife life...without the cooking of course, that will be his job."
jisung said, nodding his head.

"who wouldn't want that, right?"

"straight males."

"true."
minho shrugged.

"so you're not a straight male?"
jisung chuckled.

"nope. with your plans for the future I assume you're not either."
minho said.

"yeah, you're gay, or bi, or pan, or anything different?"
jisung asked.

"I'm bi. you?"

"same, but I prefer man a lot. there is a chance I would fall for a girl tho."
jisung answered, before looking at Minhos plate.
"you gonna eat that?"

minho playfully rolled his eyes, before giving the rest of his piece to jisung, also giving him the whipped cream.

"thank you~"
jisung said happily.
"and what about you? do you prefer men or women?"

"I think I'm attracted to both the same way honestly. I'm the personality type of guy."
minho said.

"same. but I think that looks are also a really important factor. looks is the first impression that you give, so if you're not attractive, no one will really notice you. attraction is an important thing in relationships as well, because without liking your partners appreciate, the relationship is not going to last."

"you're speaking like you're some expert on it."
minho chuckled.

"I actually am."
jisung said, putting another piece of the apple pie in his mouth.
"I was fat for a long time actually. all of the people noticed only my friends, and I was that ugly friend that people talk with to make themselves feel better about their appearance. I wanted a change, for myself, and because I also wanted to find myself someone. that was three years ago. I lost 100 pounds and never been happier with my body. well, I still don't have bitches or dicks, but I like myself."

"wow."
minho said, genuinely impressed.

"yeah."
jisung nodded, putting the empty plate on the other one, putting the forks on the top one.
"so I have some experience when it comes to this."

"how did you even ended up on this ranch in the first place?"

"hyunjin was working here. he's actually my long time friend, and I needed money for my school, so he suggested that I should come with him."

"well that's nice."
minho said with a small smile.

"yeah, I'm grateful tho. I don't think I would find a better job anywhere else. grandma is a lovely person who takes care of everyone, and I love it here."

"well, I'm glad that she wasn't here alone all those years."
minho sighed, feeling ashamed that he stopped coming over.

"why did you stop coming over for summer anyway?"
jisung asked, genuinely curious.

"I...I don't know. I remember that I loved it here, but I guess I just...grew up? I had different hobbies and different likings, and I...I don't know."
minho sighed, looking down.

"hey, it's okay. don't feel ashamed. of course that with people's ages, their interest change. it's not your fault that you grew out of it."
jisung said, giving him a small pat on the shoulder.

"but still...she's my grandma, you know?"
minho said, giving jisung a small sad smile.

"the important thing is that you actually came now. it's better then never."
jisung said, giving him a smile, before he got up.
"we should put these plates into the dishwasher now."

"yeah."
minho nodded, getting up.

"now we just gotta hope that grandma won't be in the kitchen."
Jisung said as he opened the doors of mae's cage.

"well let's hope that luck is on our side."
minho smiled, before they started walking towards the main building.

the luck was definitely on their side, because grandma wasn't there.
no one caught them.

the boys ran back into the stables, chuckling on their way there.

"I can't believe no one actually noticed us."
jisung chuckled, sitting down on the small chair.

"yeah."
minho chuckled as well, sitting down next to jisung.
"you know what time is it?"

jisung looked at his watch.
"it's four. we still have two hours until dinner, and all of our tasks are done. I think we practically have free time now."
he shrugged.

"so...what are we gonna do now?"
minho asked.

"I don't know. what do you want to do?"

"you're the boss here."

"and I'm also very not good at choosing what to do."
jisung shrugged, before leaning on his chair with a sigh.
"but seriously, I enjoyed today. it was really fun. thanks for the company."

"of course, I'm here to make people's life's happier."
minho said proudly, earning a chuckle from jisung.

"then never stop doing it."
jisung said, looking at minho with the lost beautiful smile.
"should we go ask grandma if she doesn't need some help with the dinner? you know, since we don't have anything to do anymore."

"yeah, okay."
minho said, getting up, and the two boys made their way outside, chuckling at their jokes.
