minho was the first one to wake up in the morning.

first, he was confused about his surroundings, and why his back pained so much, but then he realized that jisung was still laying on his shoulder.

"did we really fall asleep like that?"
minho whispered to himself, before looking back at jisung.

he must admit that he was admiring the sleeping boy next to him. with his pouty lips and big cheeks that looked so squishy, he was probably one of the most beautiful people minho has ever seen.
and he meant that.
he put some of jisungs hair behind jisung's ear, getting a better view of his face.

just then, someone came inside the stables.

"yo, jisung, you won't believe what happened to me!"
a very loud voice called out.
it was definitely felix.

minho stayed silent, not quite sure what to do.

felix's loud voice woke jisung up tho.
with a little whine, he looked around, before he heard Felix's voice.

"jisung! you here?!"
felix called out again.

"did we fall asleep here yesterday?"
jisung whispered to minho.

minho nodded.
"I guess so. what are we gonna do now?"

jisung slowly got up.
"I'm gonna go distract felix, and then you can come out of the cage, okay?"

minho nodded, slowly standing up as well.

jisung opened the door slightly and walked out.
"Felix! I'm here!"
he said, closing the cage behind him, leaving Minho there.

"where were you dude?"
Felix asked, as he made his way back to jisung.

"literally here. I was just in Mae's cage."
jisung said, as he stared to walk in the other direction, trying to get felix to follow him so Minho could also get out.

"oh, cool. anyways. you really smell like shit right now, but you really won't believe what happened. yesterday I was..."

minho could hear Felix's voice slowly disappearing and disappearing, so he figured it was the best time to get out.

opening the cage slowly, minho took the blanket that was over him and jisung, together with the lantern and closed the cage behind him, putting the two items in the small chairs, before quickly walking out of the stables.
when he was in the main house, a huge weight has been lifted off of his shoulders.
the better thing was that grandma wasn't in the kitchen either.

walking upstairs into the bathroom, minho immediately took off his clothes and went into the shower.
his back was still pretty much sore, and he figured that it would be for a while, so he was actually pretty glad that today he was helping with the sheep's.
mainly because it was kinda easy.
and yeonjun and yunho were a good company.

drying his hair, minho went back into his room and put on his fresh clothes, before walking downstairs.
he saw that his grandma was in the kitchen.

"oh, good morning minho! I thought you would be on your run right now."
she said when she saw her grandson walking down the stairs.

"oh, well, I honestly just felt really tired, I didn't sleep quite well."
minho said.
he was kinda lying actually.
he slept well, only his back was now hurting.

"well, okay then. what do you want for breakfast? jeonwoo brought some fresh bred from the market, so you want a piece with jam?"
grandma asked, taking a bite out of her apple.

minho nodded.
"that would be nice actually."

grandma nodded and she turned around, and that's when minho finally set his eyes on the fruits on the table.
jisung won't have breakfast today, and knowing him, he will be hungry the entire day.
so he decided to take two apples.
