chapter ten

I somehow got enough of a phone signal for me to be able to call Alli. I wasn't sure how long it would last but I figured I needed to let her know I'm safe, as I'm praying she is safe as well. So I called.

Alli answered on the second ring. "Oh my gosh you're alive! how?! I saw you jump into the water, you are so stupid!"

"Or maybe I'm finally seeing clearly." I started pacing, "I didn't tell you before but I had a strange dream, I think it was more of a vision. Anyways, I believe I saw the Allspark. It told me to find the ice meta humans in the north. It warned me that these people were cruel to outsiders, and even each other. It said these meta humans steal from one another and slap each other with loaves of bread."

"What? That doesn't make any sense. Why were you supposed to find them?"

I stopped pacing for a moment. "I was told to warn them the error in their ways, that a big disaster was coming if they didn't. He said if I made them my friends they would want to help us protect the cube. I-I'm in the belly of a whale right now and I don't know how long I have before the signal cuts out. Please trust me, I am going to do what I should've done to begin with."

"Then go, I'll be fine; thanks to your brave act the ship is on course again with no issues. I'll see you when-"

The phone cut out but I knew what she was going to say. "When we meet again." I whispered.

I decided to try and find some fish to cook. I decided to use wood from an old ship that the whale had eaten to make the fire for cooking the fish. I was surprised that the strange blue colored stomach accid didn't rise at all as I waited to find out where this whale was taking me.

I think I actually know where this whale was taking me if this really was like the story of Jonah. But when do books or movies about alien robots ever reflect a Bible story in a very sci Fi way?

All I could do was wait, wait and see.
