The next two weeks were normal. At least as normal as things can be when your motorcycle is actually a sentient alien robot. I still worked at the bakery. And i managed to keep Alli's secret, even from my mom.

No one had said anything about the cube. And that was worrying because the cube needed to be returned to Alli's people, the autobots.

One night I went to bed early. I don't normally go to bed particularly early, but my head had started hurting and usually sleep helps when that happens. I fell asleep almost immediately.

I was confused by the dream I was in. I was sitting in a car seat, but the rest of the car was nonexistent. I was also in some kind of black void. But in the void was a light, it was like a fire but it was not hot enough to burn me.

"Where am I?"

"Normally humans don't get to find the Allspark. And those that do have no idea the force they've found."

"The Allspark? Are you-him-it? What exactly is the Allspark?"

"I was there during the creation of your world. I am what your people call God. And I am here now to protect your world like I have failed to protect Cybertron."

The flames wrapped around me in a warm embrace. And I didn't know what to do. "So why are you showing yourself to me?"

"Because I need to tell you, the thing in which you seek is not what you need to find."

"I don't understand."

"You want to find the cube, the thing that creates all cybertronian, the thing I created as a gift for the Cybertronians. But answer me this, what is the best way to defeat an enemy?"

I had to scratch my beard at this. "Make them your friend? But what does this have to do with the cube?"

"The enemy you wish to protect the cube from is meta-humans. but you must find a group of ice meta-humans in the far north, isolated within a wall of ice, and cruel to any outsiders. They steal, lie, and slap each other with frozen bread.  If you can make them your friends, they will help protect the cube from those who'd want to abuse its power."

"You want me to go to the cruelest people on earth, with ice powers no less, and ask them for help?"

The fire turned a violent red color and spun my chair around angrily. "You shall go to these people and tell them the error in their ways, tell them that they can avoid the destruction that will fall upon them otherwise."

Before I could respond I was suddenly wide awake, my alarm blaring. It was time for work. And I did not know if I should trust this bizarre dream.
