Precious blood spilled

"WAIT!!" I yell towards my dad.
"I don't think you should open the door"
"What are you talking about" my dad said with a confused look on his face "I need to open the door if we want to eat pizza tonight,"

"Yea silly" my sister laughed while making a funny face at me.

"I don't know I just have a bad feeling is all" I muttered quietly.

Dad opened the door, standing outside was the delivery guy holding our pizza. He looked pale, dead almost. He handed my dad the pizza, dad's face looked concern. "Are you alright son" he said in a soft calming voice he put his hand on the delivery guy's shoulder. And at that moment he collapsed to the floor.

"Is everything alright Dave" my mom said to my dad. She walked over towards my father with Mia trailing behind her.

She gasped, Mia screamed. "Is he going to be ok mamma?"

Mia looked up at my mom and tugged on the bottom of her shirt "yes honey stay close ok."

Mean while I was still near the monopoly board to afraid to move not because he collapsed but because a girl about 23 stepped out from the doorway with blood covering her mouth.

she wore all black lace in a sort of gothic way, she turned her head slightly with a disappointing face. "I thought he would fill me up" she said with a slick high pitched voice. "But he only made me more hungry"

she scanned the room looking at us, we were all paralyzed by fear.

"RUN!!!!" My dad yelled but it was too late the girl leaped for his throat causing his blood to poor out of him, and painting the walls with a dark Crimson.

My mother screamed "DAVE!!!"

She took Mia by the arm and tried to run but only made it as far as the kitchen, my mother looked at me and she yelled but I couldn't here her, I was too in shock to even comprehend what was happening.

"NAOMI RUN, GET OUT OF HERE, GO GET HELP!!!!!"

I turned around and headed out the back door. I ran as fast as I could to escape, I turned back, the lights were off and I heard screams, my mothers scream.

Tears welded in my eyes. Don't look back Naomi!! Don't look back!! I heard another scream this time from Mia, "Dammit!!" I cursed to myself, you gotta get help, you have to save them.

I stopped, everything went quiet, no screams, nothing.

I turned around and in the shadows of the night I saw her.
A maniacal smile was plastered on her face, her once white fangs now stained with blood dripping from her mouth.

Tears streamed down my face, I turned back around and ran with all I could. I heard her laugh in the back.

"I HATE WHEN MY FOOD RUNS, BUT YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'LL BE WORTH THE CHASE!!"

I kept on running, my thighs and lungs burned. I need a place to hide, where in the hell can I hide.
I looked around in the distance and saw an abandoned green house.

"YOU CANT RUN FOREVER LOVE!!" she laughed.

I sprinted towards the green house and shut the door looking for a place to hide, I heard tapping on the door. "Aww poor little girl lost her family" I ducked down under a table.

The girl giggled "don't worry love" I saw her shadow near the door, "you'll be reunited with them soon" the doors busted open and she walked in.

I put my hand over my mouth and held my breath. The girl walked around, all I could see were her feet. I had to do something I looked around for something sharp, I scanned the floor it was hard to see because of the tears in my eyes. I quickly wiped them away.

"Come out, come out, where ever you are!"

In the moon light I saw a shiny piece of metal I couldn't make it out well but it looked like hedge clippers I shuffled over and quickly picked them up.

"There you are" she said with a smirk on her face.

I lunged at her with the clippers but she moved to quickly and she grabbed the clippers out of my hand pulling me to her, my back facing her.

Her arm was over my neck. What do I do now, without thinking I bit her arm as hard as I could. A great amount of blood went into my mouth. She screamed in pain.

"You parasite! now I'm really going to enjoy killing you!" She tightened her arm around my neck and I choked on her blood.

Forcing the blood to go down my throat the girl leaned in hanging her fangs right above my neck, before she could plunge her fangs into me I heard a gun shot. Immediately her grip loosens and she falls backwards.

I turned around and saw that she took a bullet to the collarbone she screamed in pained, but before she could get up two men came over and pinned her down. "Listen" said one of the guys. "If you move one more muscle I'll put bullet through your skull." My eyes widened with shock. A warm hand was placed on my shoulder and an old man looked at me with sympathetic eyes.

"Are you alright young lady" he said.

I just stood there with nothing to say. He looked at the vampire who was now in fear "WAIT!!" she screamed.

"NO I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!!" The old man took a wooden stake out of his jacket.

"Grace Lolita for the sins you have committed your punishment is death" and with that he stabbed her in the heart.

"Hey Donny don't you usually ask them if they want to ask for forgiveness or something." Both the men had gotten up, the girl that was once a vampire was now a burning corpse.

"There is no redemption for a vampire who murders a family just for sport."

"Yea," said the other guy "but what are we going to with her" he said pointing at me. At this time I passed out. "Dammit" I heard. "Now whose going to pick her up."
