Blythe made her way over to the chateau, silent tears rolling down her face. It didn't help that she was blasting 'All too well' by Taylor Swift (the ten minute version of course) the whole way there. She was incredibly sad, and needed some comfort. She hoped her pogue friends would welcome her over like John b did the other night.
of course she also wondered if now that she was back with Rafe her parents would finally love her again. it was all Blythe craved, and she was doing exactly what they wanted her to do. so can't they just finally love her?
all she wanted was to be embraced by them, be told that she's enough and she is loved. she didn't think she was asking for much. but then again, these were her parents she's talking about. Blythe doesn't even know if they love each other.
there was one night when Blythe was 11, they were still living in their penthouse in Manhattan. her mother was god knows where, and the door to her father's study was cracked just a tad. which was unusual because it was typically locked.
it was late, Blythe had snuck out of her room to grab a snack. when she tip toed past his study thats when she saw it for the first time. her father and another women. she was heartbroken, as would any child who had seen their father having an affair.
he begged her not to tell her mother. bought her whatever she wanted whenever she wanted. for the year. but as Blythe got older, the cheating never stopped. and now threatening to tell her mother just earned Blythe a cold slap across the face. she learned to just leave it be, not even feeling the slightest bit guilty.
She pulled into the driveway and realized everyone was out on the porch. JJ instantly noticed her and pointed her out to the group. She quickly wiped her tears, getting the sense that they were talking about something serious.
"Look there she is! Blythe, tell them we were literally going to die."
"what?"
" We were right outside like this! And all we hear is bam! Bam! Bam! Knocking paint off the wall G! From the inside." JJ explains leaning against the brick wall of the chateau. Blythe Laughed at his reenactment. But JJ was right, they were put under a lot of stress in that situation. They were all scared. Blythe thought she was going to die.
