A group of 4 zoo animals and equestrian creature have lived their whole lives in the Central Park Zoo of New York City. But now they have been washed up on the island of Madagascar and they must now learn to live in the wild!

After their friends went to sleep, Alex, Twilight, Starlight, Sunset, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Sweetie Belle, Fluttershy, Applejack, Applebloom, Pinkie, Scootaloo, Spike, Zecora and Marty are the only ones left awake. Alex and the ponies looked at each other as he sighed in relaxed. He then lies back on his back look at the night sky.
Alex: What a day. I mean, I tell you, it just doesn't get any better than this, you know. It just did. Even the star's out. You're not gonna find a star like that in the wild.
Marty then looked up at the star in the sky.
Marty: Helicopter.
The star begin to move to reveal to be the light from a helicopter.

Starlight Glimmer: Wow. The lights from planes and helicopters sure do look like stars when it's dark.
Twilight Sparkle: Now that's interesting.
Alex: Very funny guys. Marty, buddy, listen. Everybody has day when they think the grass might be greener somewhere else.
Rarity: How cannot love all of these beautiful lights when it night in the city.
Sunset Shimmer: This your home.
Marty then got off his treadmill.
Marty: Guys, look at me. I'm 10 years old, my life is half over. Zecora is the only other Zebra that I have. And I don't even know if we're black with white stripes or white with black stripes.
Twilight Sparkle: That is a very good question that some people are trying to figure out.
Alex: Will I definitely know that Zecora is white with black stripes. Twilight's blue mane and tail has a purple and pink streak. Starlight's purple mane and tail have a little purple and aquamarine streak. Sunset's mane and tail has red and yellow stripes like bacon. And Rainbow Dash's mane and tail stripes make them look like a rainbow.
Then Marty and Zecora sat down next to Alex and the ponies.
Alex: Marty, I'm thinking of song.
Marty: Alex, please, not now.
Alex: Yes, it's a wonderful song. I think you're familiar with it. Da da da di da...
Marty: Oh no! I'm not listening.
Marty then covers his ears as he saying la la la.
Alex: Start spreading the news...
Marty: I don't know you.
Alex: I'm leaving today... We are a great part of it... Ta!
Alex then spins around the pole and climbs up to be upside down. Marty avoided it and didn't look at Alex.
Alex: Come on, you know, you know the words. Two little words.
Zecora: Come on, Marty. We all know those two little words.
