First Day Of Snow[Sonadow]

Chapter 3

Author's POV
As the cold azure hedgehog made his way further in the village through the snowy weather, he already felt like something was clearly wrong. he noticed the villagers living in the houses had only one or two person in it, it could be a mom and a daughter, father and a son or just a mom and a dad. He knocked on a few houses to ask about the hero, the same hero in the book he had read for the little bunny.

"A hero? In our village? I wish, this village is dying anyways why would we need a hero now?" One of the female villager said

"pardon? A hero you say? There's no such person as someone like that living in our village" another villager stated

The azure hedgehog groan in frustration, all the villagers he questioned had all the same answer.
No one seemed to know who the hero is or they don't remember who the hero is.

The azure hedgehog sighs as he continued to walk further in the village, as he knock on one more house a woman opened the door.

"Hi, t-his may sound dangerous but can l stay here f-for the night?" The azure hedgehog spoke as he greeted the woman with a shaky breath due to the cold, his body shivering and trembling.

The woman smiled and nodded "of cour-" her words were cut short upon recognizing who the azure hedgehog looks like, she froze before her brows furrowed in fear, then she screamed loudly alarming the other villagers

Sonic's POV
I instinctively took a step back when the woman suddenly screamed in fear, l turn my head to look around the houses and everyone came out holding weapons and it all looked sharpen up to the point the edges was enough to cut a piece of paper. l raised my brows in slight fear and drop my flashlight on the ground of snow before raising my hands up at the level of my chest, trying to figure out what's happening

"This is getting weird-" l said to myself, l felt a bit nervous seeing how sharp their weapons are, l continued to take a few steps back to make a safe distance away from the villagers, who are getting closer to me with angry expressions plastered on their faces. "Maybe we can talk about this?- l don't know what l did to make you guys angry but seriously! I'm freezing cold out here!"

"LEEEAAAVvveeeee!!!!" They all commanded in unison, their tone made me feel like a spider just crawl down on my spines. I grabbed my flashlight and quickly dash away from the village heading towards the dark snowy forest, l don't know where l was going since l'm only making a few turns avoiding the trees that were in my way

"I was only asking nicely! Do l look that hideous? I know l didn't brush my quills yet but screaming was too far!!" I complained, displease by my interaction with that villager woman. Yeah, l didn't brush my quills so what? It was time for me to go to bed before l got trapped in this stupid place

I eventually stopped somewhere to catch my breath, l could feel my stomach rambling from hunger and it pissed me off since l didn't eat anything for dinner tonight. My eyes darted around the area hoping for food, but who am l kidding? It's snowing and there's barely anything visible at the moment

"Okay- plan B- uh, what is plan B? How am l gonna get out of here?, l hope tails is doing something good to bring me back"
I said to myself, worrying that l might not see my gang again. My nose suddenly pick up a strong aroma of cooked food around the area "hmmm! That smells good-"

Author's POV
Due to hunger, the azure hedgehog followed the sweet aroma of food through the forest and found himself looking at a castle which was further away from periwinkle village. The castle's interior was old and the paint had already faded, cracks were everywhere as well.

"woah! This looks awesome, you know what that means. It's time to investigate!!" The azure hedgehog stated as he approach the gates and entered, the gates were old as well that it creaked when it got opened by the blue hero.

The azure hedgehog stood Infront of the doorstep, he cleared his throat and knock on the door for like five times throughout this situation. He waited patiently hoping this time nothing screams at him. He waited and waited until he couldn't take it anymore

"Hello?!!!! Anyone home??? Can l stay here just for one night? I'm freezing cold and badly hungry- l can keep you company!!" The blue hero shouted, but there was only silence that followed.

However, the doors suddenly slowly swing open revealing another hedgehog with red crimson eyes, red streaks on his quills and wearing a plain dark blue colored shirt paired with black pants then a black coat. The ebony hedgehog raised a brow at the visitor who is standing right Infront of him

"May l help you?.."
