A Tale of Chaos

Chapter 5: Lava Strikes

Mars woke to pure blackness except for the tiny dots of giant giant stars far away. He got up and looked around.

As he walked around calling for his friends names he got blasted back by a powerful punch that left a hole in his cheek, it didn't bleed was the weird part. "Who was that!?"

He felt another on his right thigh. "Seriously! No joking around! Show yourself!"

Earth was holding a wiggling-around-in-pain Mars in his arms. "X" shaped wounds on his left cheek and fourhead, and another on his thigh. They were light blue/cyan colored "X" with white-gray around it. 'Just like Nine's color!'

Earth kept jerking Mars awake once Violet let him. After 7 tries it finally worked. "Earth?"

"Oh thank the stars!" Earth exclaimed, Phobos and Deimos clinged onto Mars' arms. Mars grunted as he held his leg. Nine had already gotten there with Violet Infront of him. "The coloring looks a LOT like yours Nine." Violet stated. "So? It wasn't Saggitarius A who did it to him. He would have been completely pure grey, light orange by now." Nine retorted. "True. This feels quite like Lava's doing now though." She finally said after a moment of silence. "Lava? Your enemy?" Earth asked. "Yes. But,.... I hate,.. the fact we're,..... cousins. I'm pure good he's pure bad!" She answered to him while bandaging Mars. "Thanks, Violet." Mars whimpered. "Yeah." She lightly smiled.

"What now?" He asked as Venus and Mercury walked over knowing what had just happened. "Now? Now we wait. When he, Lava, tried to attack me which made us enemies, he would strike at the less likely to give in first then move his way to the most likely and based on the energies I've been given coming off everyone here, the top 5 would be: 5.) Uranus, 4.) Nine, 3.) you Earth, 2.) Mercury because of his schizophrenia and 1.) Neptune." Violet looked down in sadness.

"NOW! NOW WE DO NOTHING!" The Sun finally said his brows furrowed in anger, right eye twitching. "WHAT!? After what JUST happened to MARS!? We do absolutley NOTHING!?" Venus retorted to the Sun. "Yes." The Sun turned around. shoulders lifted in anger "Oh- okay! So you don't care about your friends anymore!!!?" Venus snapped. Suns shoulders fell down, his eye gaze on them turned to sadness as he sighed, "Saggitarius A told me not to do anything, otherwise he would send someone. Lava is that someone. Saggitarius told me that Lava wouldn't stop until he hurt Earth, a crater or deep crack in Earths four head. I don't know what to do." The Sun started crying lightly, fists clenched at the end.

Earth looked at Sun fear filling his eyes, Venus and Mars comforted him, Nine crossed his arms, Mercury covered his mouth as Violet hugged him in comfort at the thought of Lava giving him his schizophrenia which Violet had known Lava gave him. "Wha-Wh-What about my Earthlings?!" Earth started sobbing. All the Sun could do was tell the story in his eyes before looking away.
