BEFORE THEY REALIZED IT, Christmas was fast approaching, and Pandora found herself spending every single day filled with countless lively activities with the Potter family.
Oftentimes, they would simply lounge in the living room, sitting in front of the fire, playing games and even sleeping there instead of their beds. Fleamont would occasionally find them fast asleep, surrounded by the remnants of unfinished games laid out on the ground. Usually, it would be a game of wizard's chess, gobstones, or any board game available around the house.
One thing that had become routine for Pandora, was how much Mia and Monty pampered her, just as they did James. He was used to it, given how his parents had always spoiled him, but for Pandora, it took some time to adjust to such affectionate attention.
Eventually, she grew so accustomed to their warm gestures that whenever Mia and Monty had moments of leisure, James would rest his head on his father's lap and Pandora would find her head on Mia's lap. This was the first time Pandora had ever experienced a mother's comforting embrace, and even James could see how much she cherished those moments.
To Pandora, it was incredibly heartwarming whenever James would orchestrate such moments, leading her to the couch where his parents sat, with the two of them snuggled between Mia and Monty. Oftentimes, James would encourage his parents to tell them stories of their time back in school, enjoying the shared laughter and stories.
