Michael didn't know what to think, he has just agreed to go to a complete strangers house in the middle of a school day ,but instead of turning around back up the stairs to school like he should have, he simply followed the taller boy to his car. When they got there Calum opened the car door for him and Michael couldn't help the redness creeping up his face, why was he being so nice? The car ride was silent making it awkward but Michael didn't really mind, Michael was awkward so he was in his natural habitat. He didn't actually start to worry until Calum pulled off on the side of the road, and worst case scenarios flashed across his mind but Calum only looked at him and said "just promise that when you see my house you won't treat me any differently okay?" Michael didn't see how Calum's house could be any worse than his own but he simply nodded and Calum slowly eased back on the road and continued forward. Let's just say it wasn't what he expected. They pulled up to what looked like a 3 story, orange mansion house .
