party day then.

I got ready for the party fairly early, taking ages over my long brown hair, ironing out every curl so it was slick straight and sexy. After applying a considerable amount of makeup, I made my way downstairs after quickly checking my phone. three messages from Jake.  I sighed, and turned my phone off before greeting my brother, Alex. Alex was in the year above me and could now drive, much to my disappointment as it meant he had to give me lifts everywhere instead of mum or dad, and in my opinion, he was a pretty.... awful ( shall we say) driver.

we made our way to the car, he examined my outfit, I'm glad I chose to go with the tight as my skirt was quite short and he definitely wouldn't approve and would probably grass me up to mother. as we neared robins house, he went over the usual rules of not putting my drink down, not leaving the house on my own, and most importantly, not having sex with, or allowing any male to touch me. I loved how much he cared, but he could be so damn annoying at times.

I headed into the party, my box of 24 diet coke cans in hand, and knocked on the door. I knew Tristan and the other boys would already be there, and I was incredibly nervous. I rang the doorbell and stepped back taking a deep breath. through the frosted glass I could see a male figure coming to the door... oh god. where the hell was robin? I took another deep breath as the door opened. I smiled as the guy smiled at me, he ha the most adorable smile I had ever seen, dimples and all. I felt my heart melt and my mouth go dry, I couldn't say anything. I stood with my mouth open, gawping at him as he looked me up and down, my mouth was still not responding to my brains request, I wished the ground would just swallow me up... but luckily robin came to my rescue.

"finally! we've been waiting for you for ages, come on in girl!" she said.

I walked through the door, smiling at the mysterious guy as he held it open for me, I couldn't even say thank you. he wasn't anything special, he wasn't ugly but he wasn't Calvin Klein's next top model. yet there as something about him that drew me in, like a magnet, or moth to a flame.  I needed to ensure I didn't get burnt.

" thanks tom" robin said as she walked into the living room where I resumed everyone was.

it slowly registered that he was called tom, and as soon as I entered the living room I stopped des in my tracks and found myself laughing:

" oh my god.. as if your fat lesbian?"

everyone laughed as tom looked to the floor. oh well done me! his gaze met mine for a second before he quickly looked away as he at in the leather arm chair and took a beer from the guy I recognised as Luke. I couldn't take my eyes off tom. I had to get away...

guests started filing in as I went into the back garden to find my other best friend Sophie moving the bin towards the chairs so that there would be less cleaning to do in the morning, she was always thoughtful like that.

" hey soph, you alright? why aren't you in the lounge with robin and the others?" I asked

" im good thanks dude, you know how I feel about those twats..." she replied before being cut off.

" who's a twat?"

I turned round to see quite a handsome young lad standing behind me, he had an easy lob sided smile on his face, and from this, I recognised him instantly.

" omg!!!Zac!" I said as I practically jumped on him, I hadn't met Zac before, but I spoke to him for a bit via the internet a couple months back, he hugged me back and asked me if I was going to introduce him to my friend.

I looked over at Sophie to see her smiling at him. I knew that look. she took another sip of her drink without looking away from Zac. I squealed in delight, they would be so cute together! just as I went to introduce sophie to him I heard a voice

" how much as she had to drink?"

I turned round again to see tom and a few others making there way to the furniture beside me. I scoffed a little before saying

" nothing. I don't drink so..."

" oh sure sure course you don't." he replied.

I let out a loud breath before saying that I didn't and that it was none of his business if I had been drinking. he replied that he didn't want me to do anything stupid as he didn't want to have to hold my hair as I threw up. who the hell did he think he was?

I snatched his drink out of his hand. cider? oh yes that would do nicely. I made it look as if I was going to take a sip as a smile played on his lips before I slowly poured the contents of the can over his head.. it was almost entirely full...

ha.

and with that, I walked off picking up what seemed to be a very soggy bread roll and a couple jelly babies as I made my way towards robin and Tristan. I could hear the people tom was with laughing as he tried to wipe the cider from his face. 1 - 0 to me! I showed him. what a knob....
