Brittany's P.O.V

"What are you doing here?" I asked once again. I've been pacing back and forth trying to pry answers from him but he seemed to be in a bit of shock. Why? I don't know. "I'm leaving." I finally said and started walking away from him. I stopped and almost smiled when I heard him say stop.

"Wait, you already know about the war right?" He asked.

"I do. I know my kingdom will go into war with Oslem." I said quietly.

"Not just your kingdom." He said which made my gaze snap towards  him. What was he talking about.

"What?"

"All the other kingdoms." He said sadly. "It's one of the biggest wars the Kingdoms will ever face."

"No." I whispered sadly. "How?"

"Oslem captured someone from each kingdom that they dearly loved. They're furious. They want war." He replied. "You have to get going and so do I. Please be careful. Do not trust anyone." He grabbed my hands and squeezed tightly. "They're not who you think they are." And with that he left.

I leaned against the wall and slid down. I buried my face into my knees and for the first time started crying. I always felt the need to be the strongest but now I just don't know what to do. I stood up and grabbed the envelope from under my shirt. I opened it up and stared at the picture in front of me.

I read her description. She was perfect. I closed the envelope knowing I would look at the other information later and tucked it under a garbags can. I knew i couldnt take it with me. And just when I thought the party was ending. It was actually beginning. And that's when I felt something cool and hard pressed against my back.

"Scream and I'll shoot." And gruff voice said. I turned around slowly to meet the gun man's eyes.

"Nice seeing you Oslem." I said smugly. He lowered the gun and gave me a cold smile.

"I wish I could say the same." I snorted who knew the guy had a sense of humor.

"So what is that you want?" I asked.

"Oh you know what I want. I've been  asking for it since you where eleven years old." He said angrily. Talk about needing anger management.

"Nope sorry." I said checking out my nails. I frowned when I noticed I had broken a nail. Chris was so going to pay for that.

"You're not taking this seriously." He warned.

"Oh I am." I said. "My kingdom is on the line so of course I have to take it seriously." He laughed coldly.

"I've sent so many warning and you seem to have ignored them." He said chuckling. "Give it to me." He hissed.

I shook my head no. I turned arpund to grab my knife that was laid on the trash can to slash his arm when I saw him reach for his gun that he tucked back into his back pocket. I unfortunately was to late.

I let out a scream when I felt 2 bullets go through my back and shoulder.  I crumpled towards the ground as I groaned in pain. I touched my shoulder and felt something sticky oozing out of my back.

"You monster." I coughed out gazing into his eyes angrily.

"I'm no monster love. You are." He hissed. He pointed the gun towards my head and I looked straight into his cold eyes.

"Shoot me you bastard. And you'll never get what you want. Go on you coward." I spat angrily.

He let out a bitter chuckle. I coughed again blood spilling out of my mouth. I grimaced. "You're right. Goodbye my love." He winked and disappeared.

I coughed again. Who knew I would end like this. I closed my eyes who grew heavy. I felt someone hover over me. I tried getting away but I couldn't instead I did the only thing someone ever does when they're shot.

I passed out.

Not EDITED. So yes guys this is the end. I know surprising. But I think I might do a sequel....or not.  I'm not sure. Maybe a spinoff.  But if I won't do a sequel I will continue this. And finish it. But for now this is it. Please comment below what you want.

A sequel explaining how they lose or win the war but with a spinoff.
