hi! it's been a while! i know most of you probably opened up this chapter hoping or expecting for me to finally continue writing this story. however, i am so sorry to say that i won't be continuing this fanfic. i wrote this story 2 years ago and i feel as though it is done and dusted. i think my ending wrapped everything up quite nicely without the drama of season 2 of tsitp, which i think would be difficult to add to this fanfic.
the reason i'm writing this author's note right now is because i've decided to write a new fanfic! so exciting! it is not related to the summer i turned pretty, but i thought some of you might be intrigued and i know a lot of you who like this fanfic, will most likely enjoy it!

It is an oc! x aaric/cam graycastle fanfic. i read fourth wing and iron flame a few months ago and i completely fell in love with the fantasy world and characters rebecca yarros has created, therefore i've finally decided to create my own fanfic in her wonderful fantasy world. if you haven't read the empyrean series yet, you definitely need to! the third book, onyx storm comes out in january! it's definitely one of my favorite fantasy reads!!
