Goku x Kagome: High School First Meeting AU

"Ugh, I don't want to go to school..." Kagome said to herself as lowered her head in a bad mood.

Kagome was forced to move into the house with his aunt and her cousin Kikyo before the first day of school. It was because her mom got promoted in her job. So she sends Kagome to live with Kikyo and Kikyo's mother. Of course, Kagome's mother won't be coming home for a while. Kagome wondered why her mom had forced her.

Suddenly, she bumped into a person when she didn't watch where she was going. She fell to the ground.

"Ouch!" The voice sounded like a boy wailing.

"Oops, sorry! I didn't watch where I was going." Kagome said, backing away from the boy. When she looked up, she suddenly met the boy's appearance that has black spikey hair and onyx eyes. She wasn't sure how long she was staring at him.

"Are you okay, miss?" The boy asked as he reached out his hand to her.

She began to blush. So she took his hand, making him help her stand up.

"You're not hurt, right?" The boy asked.

She shook her head. "No, I'm fine. I'm Kagome Higurashi, by the way."

"Nice to meet you, Kagome. I'm Goku Son." Goku greeted her. Then he noticed her face as it felt familiar to him. "Say, you look like my friend Kikyo."

She smiled. "It's because she's my cousin."

He blinked. "No, way! Kikyo is your cousin!?"

She nodded. "Yep. She's my cousin. Are you one of Kikyo's friends as well?"

Goku nodded. "I've known her since kindergarten."

"Cool. So, Goku, do you want to be friends with me? I mean, if you want to." Kagome said.

He let out a grin. "Sure! I would love that."

Then the two entered the train and they began to talk to each other so often. It was then when a few days had passed. Kagome made new friends. Every five days she took a ride on a train to school and always hung out with Goku. Ever since then, she has been interested in him. But still unwilling to make a move, watching him from afar was enough for herself. Kagome then absentmindedly took a picture of him.
