Goku x Kagome: Uncle Piccolo

A/N: This oneshot I'm writing takes the place of my Goku/Kagome fanfic story called Fertilization.

"Kagome, why are you dragging me here?" Piccolo demanded to know why Kagome was bringing him to the park where they could meet. He was confused about what Kagome was planning to do. It was probably one of the training sessions or it could be a trick that he didn't like to be deceived. He had known her for years from now.

"Because I want you to meet them," Kagome said, smiling.

"It better not be a trick, so help me, I'll blast you into bits," Piccolo sneered. He had a lot of issues going on. Especially he sometimes had trust issues. Anyhow, he decided to trust Kagome since they slowly became friends.

"It's not a trick, Pics. Trust me, you'll be thrilled to meet them." She assured him.

Piccolo gave her a confused look.

It was then Goku appeared in front of him who was carrying Dusk in his arms. Natsu was there and was standing beside him.

Piccolo became more confused as he stared at them until he turned to face Kagome with a furious look. He had realized it was a trap.

"I knew it! You're sending Goku to kill me!" Piccolo shouted, pointing at Kagome in anger.

"Hey, relax, Piccolo. We're not here to fight. I was bringing the kids to meet you since you and Kags became friends. Kagome thought this was a good idea to bring Natsu and Dusk to meet you." Goku said, smiling. He was putting Dusk down and letting her stand around before she ran towards Kagome into a hug.

Piccolo was still glaring at him, refusing to believe the words Goku had spoken. "Do you think bringing those brats would fool me, Goku?"

"Pics, can you at least trust Goku? Now that we have become friends, I thought it would be nice for you to become friends with Goku as well. By the way, this is our son Natsu and our adopted daughter Dusk." Kagome said as she picked Dusk up and gave her to Piccolo.

Piccolo sweatdropped as he was carrying Dusk with bare hands. At that moment, Dusk began to touch his cheek, making him flinch a bit. She let out a coo happily as she reached up and touched his antenna. She didn't hesitate to pull his antenna. She didn't pull it that hard. She was just a playful child, that was all.

"Hey! What are you doing!? Quit it!" Piccolo said, annoyed. He tried to stop her from playing with his antennae, but he was being easy on her by being too rough on the toddler. And so he stayed calm and began to cradle Dusk. This was embarrassing for him. He put the tip of the white claw at the smallmouth and let her suck his finger.

"Well, that's stupid..." Piccolo said awkwardly. After that, Dusk began to giggle playfully by touching his large hand.

Goku smiled at Piccolo as he placed his hands on the hips. "See? You're not the old Piccolo we knew. Kagome was right about you, by the way."

An irk appeared on Piccolo's forehead. "S-Shut up..."

"Here. Why don't you play with Natsu? He would like to join you." Kagome said as she placed Natsu on Piccolo's left arm.

"Are you stupid!? Is it too dangerous for me to carry these two!?" Piccolo shouted. It was the first time he was worried for the safety of Natsu and Dusk. They could tell he was soft on the toddlers.

"It's alright, Piccolo. I carried the two before. Now you can do that, but as long as you be careful with them." Goku said, smiling. He was assuring him as well.

Piccolo looked at the two toddlers. He felt embarrassed caring for them. But... he doesn't think it was bad. He found it... heartwarming. It was the first time he cared for the babies. At that moment, Natsu reached out with a small hand and punched his antenna roughly. He let out a giggle playfully.

Piccolo gritted his teeth as he sweatdropped. He never expected Natsu to be so hyped up. He wondered why. Well, he's just a toddler and everyone knew he's just a baby who likes to scream and play rough.

"Be careful, Natsu. Be gentle on Piccolo, dear." Kagome said in a mother mode. She calmed Natsu down and let the boy handle his instinct.

"Um... what are we doing again?" Piccolo asked awkwardly.

"Well, Piccolo, since we made a deal a while ago, I was planning to bring Natsu and Dusk with me. I was hoping you'll be thrilled about it. I mean, you agreed to be their godfather after all." Kagome said, smiling.

"I see now..." And so Piccolo looked at the toddlers and then looked at the parents. "Have you trained them well?"

"Not until they turn four or five," Kagome said.

He let out a 'hn' as he nodded. Then Piccolo gave them his advice. "Please make sure they trained well. Especially keep them healthy. It's important for training sessions."

"I promise, Pics," Kagome said, smiling.

"Wow, Piccolo, you've been so soft on them. Now that's the new Piccolo I want to see!" Goku exclaimed.

"Shut up!" Piccolo said in annoyance and embarrassment. After that, he gave Natsu and Dusk back to the parents.

"Okay, Kagome, now I met your kids, when are we going to train?" Piccolo asked impatiently.

"How about you train them since you meet them?" Kagome suggested.

"Yeah! That would be great for you to train Natsu and Dusk." Goku said.

Piccolo sighed in defeat. "I suppose that isn't a bad idea. Alright, fine. I'll take them as my apprentices."

"Uncle... Piccolo..." At that moment, Piccolo heard Natsu calling out to him for the first time.

"Did he just...!?"

"You heard that, Kags? Natsu said his first words!" Goku exclaimed happily as he pointed at them.

Her icy blue eyes widened. "Wow! Really!? That's great! I can't believe it!"

"He just called you Uncle Piccolo, Uncle Piccolo!" Goku teased him playfully.

Piccolo's face went red as he shouted at him, telling him, "S-Shut up, Goku!"
