A/N: This oneshot is inspired by the video called "Influence" by the YouTuber named TheNight130.

Goki was at the bakery shop helping her mom, Gine, with decorating the cake pops. She also baked the muffins and the wedding cake in the oven. Her mother owned the bakery shop and the butcher shop. Goki had to be working for the bakery shop after school.

When she was too busy working, Goki noticed a familiar black tinted, blue-haired guy entering the bakery shop. The same customer. The same face she had seen. She smiled and greeted him kindly.

"Hello, Kage. Would you like some usual?" Goki said.

He nodded. "Yes, please."

And so Goki brought the chocolate muffin and the cup of coffee to Kage. "How is your day so far?"

He shrugged off. "Fine, I guess."

Goki noticed his weird expression when there was something off with Kage. "Do you need to tell me what's wrong?"

Kage forced himself a smile. "I'm fine. It's just school."

She was a bit worried at seeing his stern look. "I see. I mean... are you sure you're fine?"

He nodded. "Yes. I apologize for making you worry."

She nodded back. "It's fine, but why don't you take it easy. Okay?"

He nodded again. "Yeah. I will."

"Hey, Kage!" Suddenly, one of Kage's friends entered the shop and greeted him with a smile. Goki recognized one of his friends: Bankotsu, Renkotsu, Suikotsu, and Jakotsu.

"Hey, Bankotsu..." Kage greeted him awkwardly.

Bankotsu, she despised his name and his face. He was one of the bad boys of school. He liked trouble and partying all night.

"Listen, we were thinking of going to the club and have some good ass time. You wanna join us?" Bankotsu said as he wrapped his arm around him and pulled Kage close to him.

Kage looked at Goki, who stood there quietly, and then looked at Bankotsu. He nodded, making Goki a bit disappointed for making a bad decision.

"Sure. Let's go." Kage said with a smirk.

"Great! Come on! Let's go!" With that, Bankotsu dragged Kage out of the bakery shop. Kage glanced over his shoulder at Goki and then looked forward to face his thrilling inner demon and disappointing inner angel.

A few days later, Kage was troubled. However, he was arrested for speeding his car with his friends, so he was sent home by the police. When he was dragged inside the house, his parents were very angry at him.

"Kage Higurashi!" His mother, Aimi Higurashi, said sternly. His father, Kouta, gave him a disapproving look as he stepped out of the shadow.

When the police warned the parents that if Kage ever crossed the line again, he would be sent to juvenile court. When the police left, Kage's parents began to scold him for making more trouble.

"Kage, you're grounded for a month. Let it be the last time you ever get caught for doing such a ridiculous rebellion." Kouta scolded sternly.

"If you disobey us again, we will add you to your grounding for a year," Aimi scolded sternly as well.

Kage groaned in defeat, rolling his eyes before he turned and walked. "Fine,"

After getting grounded by his parents, Kage was outside sitting on the roof. He didn't have a good home life, and he had poor choices in friends.

He has his angels and demons on his shoulders. Angel telling him what he knows is right, and Demon telling him 'who cares'.

One day, Bankotsu convinced Kage to go to a club. Angel told him he knew he wasn't old enough, and Demon told him to go have fun.

And so Kage went to the club and partied. Angle was disappointed and Demon was congratulating him

After he had fun, he came home and pretended that he didn't cross the path. With that, he was in his bedroom, hearing his parents arguing in the living room. He sighed deeply as he rolled over his bed and tried to sleep. He can still hear their argument.

The next day, Kage was at school, eating lunch at the cafeteria, when he noticed Goki was hanging out with her friends. He could tell she looked happy. Yet she looked like an angel when she smiled. He couldn't take his eyes off her.

"Hey." Bankotsu, of course, had at it again. However, he grabbed Kage's shoulder, making the boy look him in the eyes.

"I heard Hiten is having alcohol and drugs. I was wondering if you would like to come over to his house and party?"

Kage didn't respond. He looked at his Angel, who stood beside Goki, who told him no, and then he looked at his Demon, who stood beside Bankotsu, who told him to do it.

Kage nodded. "Sure."

Bankotsu grinned. "Great! See you there after school!"

And so after school, Kage was hanging out with his four friends smoking a cigarette and drinking a bottle of alcohol. He watched everyone around his age dancing. He felt intense at seeing everyone enjoying themselves.

Seeing women dancing around made his stomach twist. Imagining seeing Goki dancing, he began to feel aching within his body.

He wasn't sure why he wanted to go to Hiten's house. When the party was going on, Kage decided to take off and ventured around his hometown.

While venturing, Kage made it to the bakery shop and saw that Goki was still at work. He gathered his courage to talk to her as he entered the bakery shop. He wanted to make the right choice from it.

"Hi, Goki," Kage greeted her awkwardly.

"Kage, what brings you here? Do you want usual?" Goki said with a kind smile.

He shook his head. "Well... about that," Kage muttered, rubbing the back of his head.

"Hey, Kage! Why did you leave?" Bankotsu asked, sounding so mad. "Come back to Hiten's house. We were about to do something fun."

At that moment, Kage looked back at Goki and saw Angel with her, Angel telling him to stay, leave Bankotsu and everyone else behind. And finally, he listened.

He smirked at Bankotsu and said, "You know what? No, thanks. I'm staying here."

Bankotsu scowled in defeat before he walked away. "Fine."

With that, his Demon disappeared, and Kage was making a better choice.

"Kage, what's going on? Do you want to talk about it?" Goki asked, worried.

Then Kage took her hands and smiled at her. "Don't worry about it. It's just the influences I had with Bankotsu. I want to make a better choice."

"Why do you want to stay here?" She asked curiously.

"You're the only person I wanted to make a better choice," Kage said, smiling at her.
