Goku x Kagome: Meeting Goku's Parents

Goku and Kagome stopped by to visit his parents, and she was looking forward to meeting them. They stood in the front door and Goku's parents greeted them.

"Kagome, these are my parents, Bardock and Gine Son," Goku grinned excitedly.

"Nice to meet you, Kagome. Kakarot told us about you." Gine greeted her excitedly. She has the same energy as Goku had. Kagome could tell the mother and the son were the same.

Kagome bowed at the waist awkwardly. "Nice to meet you all."

"Oh, please. You don't have to bow down to us." Gine said, smiling.

"Besides, we had been looking forward to meeting you," Bardock grinned.

"We also heard you two were dating, hoping he would find the right girl," Gine giggled.

"M-Mom! We were just friends!" Goku nervously stuttered as his face went red.

"What are you saying? You two look close together." Bardock pointed it out.

"Why don't you two come in. We're having a boar steak for dinner." Gine suggested.

The two of them nodded. "Sure." With that, they entered the house and sat beside the table having a boar steak for dinner.

"My wife, Gine, is an excellent butcher. She butchers, roasts, and sells the meat to her customers." Bardock said as he took a bite of the roasted meat.

"By the way, when is Raditz coming home? He was supposed to be home for dinner." Gine said sternly.

"Probably he went out with Launch," Bardock guessed.

"Oh, really? Well, we'll have to let him know about this." Gine said.

Bardock chuckled at her. "Don't worry about it. Probably Raditz would stop by to see Launch and her parents."

"So how is school, you two?" Gine asked Goku and Kagome with a kind smile.

"It went well, Mom," Goku said.

"Except we had to do a small science project," Kagome murmured as she sweatdropped.

"Oh, what kind of science project? Are you and Kakarot working together?" She asked excitedly.

"Thomas Madison," Kagome answered, "and yes we are partners."

"Interesting. We were hoping you two would get along during the project." Gine said happily.

"Oh, come on, Mom..." Goku wailed.

"Well, we're just getting along very well, aint that right, Goku?" Kagome began to tease him, making poor Goku embarrassed.

He nervously nodded. "Yeah..."

Bardock smirked easily at noticing that. "Looks like we're getting along."

And so when the dinner was over, Kagome decided to head before saying goodbye. However, she stood on the front porch facing Goku with a kind smile.

"Your parents are nice. I'll see you at school." Kagome said.

Goku nodded to her, smiling back at her. "Yeah... Me, too. I'm sorry about my parents."

She gave him a confused look. "Why would you say you're sorry?"

"I was hoping you're not embarrassed."

Kagome chuckled at that. "There's no need for you to worry. I already liked your parents. They're amazing."

Then he smiled in relief. "I'm glad."

"Welp, goodnight, Goku. See you at school."

He nodded, waving at her goodbye. "You, too, Kags."
