Goku x Kagome: I'm Not Someome Else's Reincarnation

Kagome was just feeling down today. She was being compared to Kikyo by Inuyasha. However, he told her that she could never be like Kikyo. He called her weak, stupid, and ugly. It really hurts her feelings. She never understands why Inuyasha is being so cruel to her. She thought he was her friend.

"Kags, you okay?" At that moment, Kagome heard a familiar voice called out to her. She turned around and saw Goku standing in front of her, looking worried.

She sighed. "No, I'm not."

"Why? Did Inuyasha do it again?" She had known Goku since they were kids. She went on an adventure with her older cousin Bulma to collect the seven Dragon Balls. When Kagome and Goku turned fifteen, they were pulled by the mistress centipede for over 500 years until they made friends with Inuyasha, Shippo, Miroku, Sango, and Kirara. They also went out to find the jewel shards throughout the feudal era.

Later on, Goku and Kagome turned eighteen and became a couple. They had been dating for almost a year from now. They don't really care about Inuyasha's complaints. They just wanted him to mind his own business.

"Inuyasha compared me to Kikyo again. He told me I'll never be like Kikyo or called me weak, ugly, and stupid. What's the point of being Kikyo's reincarnation. If Kikyo didn't die, I wouldn't be reincarnated." Kagome said sadly.

"Oh, Kags. Don't listen to Inu. He's an idiot. He just wants to stay in the past to destroy the future in the process. Let's just say Inuyasha is wrong about you. Your looks are only a part of who you are. It's your personality that counts." Goku said. He put his hands on her shoulders to make her look him in the eyes.

"Bu--"

"No buts, Kags. You're an amazing woman. And a girlfriend I ever had. I know you are way stronger than Kikyo. They were wrong about you." Goku said.

"What if--"

"It's none of Inuyasha and Kikyo's business. They can talk crap all they want, but you can't let them get into you. You're still Kagome Higurashi and your personality still counts. Not someone else's reincarnation." Goku continued after cutting her off.

She smiled in relief, blushing softly. "Oh, Goku."

Kagome pressed her lips against Goku's. She wrapped her arms around him and pulled him close carefully. He put his hands around her waist and kissed her passionately. After a kiss, they gazed at each other once more.

"I'll give Inuyasha his lessons so he won't mess with you," Goku said, grinning.

She let out a chuckle. "I thank you for that, Goku."
