Yup. This week is the week. I have been studying all about the planet Earth and I can't wait. In 6 days I will be in my spaceship on a mission to find out more about this planet Earth. I was chosen out of the 10,000 inhabitants on my planet. I will be there for a month then take back off to my home planet to give the information I learned to everyone. This is going to be the best month ever!

~ 5 days later ~

Tomorrow is the day I can go to earth. I am super pumped about it, except I'm nervous too. What will happen when I get there? How is it down there? Will I survive? Pfft. Of course I will. Maybe. Just to be sure I might as well study everything about this planet and take one last look before I go off.

~ 1 minute before takeoff ~

"T-60 seconds."
Here I go. 200 lightyears away from the planet that I will live in for the next month. "T-30 seconds."
Am I sure I want to do this? Yes. I have everything with me. Food, shelter, and Gallium. Gallium to our inhabitants is like water to humans. You can't live without it. "T-10, 9, 8, 7, 6,"
Here we go. Lets do this.
"5, 4, 3, 2...."
My engine started roaring and the giant spacecraft zoomed off from the planet, at many times the speed of light. It took a lot of work to make this spacecraft. And with the heat that has been striking down on our planet, that made it harder. Really took a lot of cold blood and ice cream cones.

~ 1 minute until Earth ~

The spacecraft has slowed down very gradually through this hour. Earth is straight ahead. On the way here, I was zooming pass all these planets and made my arms and legs feel numb. So I picked myself up off the seat and started moving around. Nope. Not paralyzed even though it sure felt like it, still walking. So by the ti- Give me a second. There were lights blaring everywhere now. I looked in the control panel to see every part of the spacecraft say two words. "SIGNAL LOST". I turned around to see many flaming pieces of the spacecraft. I must have entered the atmosphere a little too hard. And this could mean trouble. Big trouble. I was zooming in to the mysterious planet and figured out if I was going to live, I shouldn't be in here. I grabbed my parachute and jumped. As I pulled the string, I felt like I got tugged, as it seemed like the flaming parts went faster. I was now landing in this eerie, spooky, place. "Hello?" I asked as I reached the ground. No answer. Uh oh.
