I could tell everyone was asleep, but all I could do was stare at the sky. After everything that happened today, I couldn't get it through my mind. I didn't know what would happen next. What is human civilization like? I was anticipating knowing. Would I have to hide from the humans or could I go out freely? I am guessing the guys I met today will always know the answer and always protect me.

A few hours had passed and I still hadn't fallen asleep. The campfire had gone out and I was still worrying about the future. The topic on my mind had switched from human society to getting home. That worried me the most. I spent most of my time thinking of how I would get back home, if I do.

A zip came from one of the tents. Feint had gotten up to do something so I quietly followed him. I watched him as he walked behind the tent and stared off into the forest. It was so dark I doubt he saw anything. After around a minute he turned around and spotted me looking at him.

"Do you mind?" he asked me with an embarrassed look on his face. I didn't really know what happened so I just went back to the picnic table and waited for Feint to walk back into the tent. I was curious as to what he was doing and went to where he was standing. I looked down and saw the leaves were shining.

I don't really want to go into what happened next... Let's just say I never liked what I tasted.

I ran over to the river that connected the campsite and a flat area of land. I spat a whole bunch into the river and rinsed my mouth out with the water. After I did that I relaxed and actually got to looking at my reflection in the water. This brung back all the memories of my life back home. I missed my family and I couldn't wait to see them again - but I didn't know if I even could now.

The picnic bench was hard to sleep on but eventually I got tired. If I can't get back to my original family, I hope I can have one here on Earth.

Ha, the Monstercat Family, I thought to myself. It has a nice ring to it.
