We can't see each other anymore, Kate...
Kate's eyes grew wide. Wait, what!? Kwazii, what do you mean we can't!? Did someone find out?
No, it's not that... Something happened, Kate. I can't tell you. But someday, I'll be able to tell you, because I know you'll find a way for us to be together. Kwazii looked away from Kate and at Tweak, who was standing beside her with tears in her eyes. Tell her I love her... and our baby. Also, tell her to stop being ashamed of herself because it doesn't matter what the others think! Keep my girlfriend and baby safe, Kate. Guard them with your life. I'm going to marry Tweak once we get out of this mess.
A smile formed on Kate's lips. I will, Kwazii. I'll do whatever it takes to protect them from Carter and the zombies. And I swear, I'll find a way for the four of us to be together again... I love you, Kwazii.
I love you too, sis. With that being said, Kwazii turned away from the two women and took off running into the woods.
Tweak began sobbing. She covered her face with her hands and shook her head. "He's not coming back, is he?" she whimpered.
"How did you know?" Kate asked, putting an arm around Tweak to comfort her.
She took a moment to respond. "I know the look he has in his eyes when he's saying goodbye. It was the same look he gave me before he turned into a zombie," replied Tweak. She uncovered her face and looked into Kate's eyes. "So, why isn't he coming back?"
A sigh left Kate's mouth. "He wouldn't tell me. All he said was something happened. He also told me to tell you that he loves you and he doesn't want you to be ashamed of yourself anymore. And Tweak, he says he's going to marry you once we fix this mess... the four of us could live together, Tweak. We could be a family!"
Tweak stopped her crying and a grin formed on her lips. "I - I've never had a real family before... After I lost my parents, I didn't think it would be possible... He - He's really going to ma - marry me? After all the insulting things I said to him? After our countless arguments? He really loves me that much?"
Kate let out a dreamy sigh. "I wish I had someone willing to do that for me... Oh, wait, I already do! And I need to explain myself to him. He's been avoiding me since I shut him out!" With that being said, Kate ran out the door.
Tweak chuckled to herself and smiled. "Go get him, tiger," she whispered. She lowered her eyes and put a hand on her stomach. "Well, did you hear that, little one? We're going to be apart of a family once this whole thing blows over."
Kate ran through the halls of the mansion, searching for Peso. When she found him standing in the kitchen, she went up behind him and threw her arms around him. Peso let out a quiet shriek in fright. He turned his head and saw Kate, and smiled. "Kate! I - I didn't see you there..."
Kate lowered her head and let out a sigh. "Peso, I'm sorry for acting so strange. I found out I had this really weird ability... You see, I can talk to Kwazii... telepathically. We don't know why. And for some reason, only occasionally, Kwazii's brain functions like a human's - making him half human, half zombie. I know it sounds crazy, but that was the reason I told you I hadn't lost anything. It was because I still had Kwazii. Well... At least I did."
For a moment, Peso did not respond. He was so shocked, he had no idea how to reply. He then began to smile, chuckle, and laugh. He laughed so hard tears began to pour out of his eyes. Kate frowned. "So... I guess that means you don't believe me... It's alright, I knew it would sound -"
"No, Kate, that's not it at all," Peso said, wiping away his tears. He smiled down at her. "I believe you 100%. It's just that I thought something serious was going on... like you were possessed or something. I'm just glad it was your special ability that was your problem. Not... zombie demons or something like that."
Kate raised her eyebrows with a smirk. "Zombie demons?"
"Hey," Peso laughed, "it could happen. You never know." The two laughed. Peso then turned around and cupped Kate's chin. "I love you."
"Aww..." She began to blush. "I love you too, Peso." With that said, the two leaned in and their lips met.

Dashi let out a yell as she thrust her sword into another zombie. It felt good to be herself again - the leader and a zombie killer. A smile formed on her lips when she saw another zombie coming her way. Dashi waved her sword around and smirked. When it came closer, she threw sword directly at it, and it flew right through its stomach. The zombie dropped to the ground, dead.
"Nice moves," a voice said behind Dashi. She let out a gasp and turned with her sword aimed. Behind her stood the last person she wanted to see. Shellington. He held a sword as well.
"Uh... thanks," replied Dashi. She lowered her sword and ran her fingers through her auburn hair. "Don't - scare me like that again, okay? I nearly stabbed you in the chest."
Shellington chuckled. "Okay, I won't. I saw you out here fighting zombies and I thought I would join you. You don't mind the company, right?"
Deep down, Dashi hated the fact that she was talking with her least favorite person in the world right now. However, she decided not to say anything. "Uh, no... I don't mind the company. Thanks, Shellington."
Together, the two fought off zombies that came their way. Dashi looked over at Shellington every now and then. He really confused her. He was the mysterious, yet charming type of guy. Dashi began to blush. She had never thought about a boy that way since Michael.
All of a sudden, she felt something grab her and she screamed. Shellington turned to look at her and gasped. "Dashi! Hold on!" He ran to her. He thrust his sword through the zombie's head and it dropped to the ground. Shellington panted and placed a hand over his chest. "What - the hell, Dashi? You were nearly turned! Oh my God, if you turned, do you have any idea -"
"Look, I'm sorry, okay? I - I just got caught up in my thoughts..." Dashi lowered her head and let out a sigh. "You were right, Shellington. I could have been happy if I just listened to you. I did love you, Shellington... But it's too late for me..."
With that said, Dashi turned away from Shellington and began to walk back to the mansion. He stood there, baffled. No matter what Dashi said, Shellington would help her find happiness again. Even if it was without him...

Ring. Ring. Ring...
"Hello?"
"Heather..."
Heather let out a gasp. Her eyes grew wide with fear. "You... Why - Why are you calling me?"
"I need to see you..."
"Well, too bad! After what you told me... no. Never. I don't want to see you." Heather held her finger over the 'End Call' button, until...
"Heather, if you don't listen to me, your friends will die..."
"Wha - What? You've got to be kidding me. Did you have another vision?" Heather rolled her eyes. She was so annoyed at this point.
"Heather, listen to me. I did, but this time, all the events I foresaw have come true. You need to come here, Heather. Bring your leader, the brown - haired boy, and the pregnant girl. I need to see you four immediately."
All of a sudden, the phone began to buzz. Heather pulled it away from her ear and gulped. This wasn't looking so good...
Author's Note: Ugh, sorry everyone! I told you that you would find out who The Chosen One was this chapter, but I had a better idea so you won't know who he is until Heather meets with... whoever called her. Anyways... Zombie demons... XD now that would be freaky
