"You dislocated both your pointer finger and pinky finger. As for your knuckle, you have bruises and cuts completely surrounding the entire area." Peso took up a towel and began to dab at Dashi's bloody hand.

She let out a sigh and closed her eyes. "You're going to have to pop both my fingers in place, aren't you?"

Peso looked up at her sympathetically. "Unfortunately so, Dashi... Don't worry, I will be extremely gentle." He set the towel down and picked up the hydrogen peroxide. "How the heck did this happen anyways?"

A chuckle escaped Dashi's mouth and she let out a sigh. "I suppose you could say I was upset. I attempted to speak with my father, however he was not answering. I was so worked up I managed to punch down his door."

Peso chuckled along with her as well. "What did he say? I bet he looked unhappy. You know how your father gets at some specific points."

Dashi gulped down her fear. "Yes, well...actually Peso...my father was not in the room. I looked in there before Shellington came running up and I did not see him. Yet the door was locked..."

"That's confusion." Peso hummed to himself as he poured a small amount of hydrogen peroxide on a towel and began to dab at Dashi's wound. He then took the cloth away and looked up at her sympathetically.

"Okay Dashi," he said to her, "I am going to have to pop your fingers back in to place. I'll do one at a time, okay? I promise to be extremely careful."

Shellington, who was beside Dashi, grabbed her good hand in his. Don't worry about a thing. I'll be right here. And feel free to squeeze my hand...I guess..."

Dashi giggled. She then turned to Peso and released a sigh. "Okay. I'm ready. Just...just get it over with, will you?" She squeezed her eyes shut and awaited for the agonizing pain yet to come.

Peso let out a sigh and grabbed her pointer finger first. "On three then. One... Two... Three!" He yanked her finger at Dashi cried out with pain. He then pulled her pinky back in to place. "There! Done!"

Dashi buried her face in to Shellington's shoulder. He ran his fingers through her auburn hair and smiled at her. "Shh...shh... It's okay. It's all over now." He wrapped an arm around her and she continued to wail.

Peso jumped up and turned toward Shellington. "Keep her calm. With her screaming like this it may cause more pain. I will be right back with ice." With that said, he ran in to the kitchen.

Shellington looked down at Dashi who was full on sobbing now. He smiled at her and ran his fingers through her auburn hair once again. "It will be okay Dashi. Calm down... calm down..."

"What the heck is going on down here!?", an unfamiliar female's voice called out. Shellington and Dashi turned to see the new refugee Kate - Kwazii's twin sister - coming down the stairs.

"Sorry about all the commotion," Shellington apologized to her. "Dashi injured her hand and dislocated two of her fingers. Peso had to pop them back in place."

Kate smiled and nodded her head. She came over to the two and knelt down in front of them. "You should try to calm her down. It might soothe the pain a little." She rubbed Dashi's shoulder and began whispering encouraging thoughts to her.

As Dashi began to calm, Shellington smiled at the blonde. "That is exactly what Peso told me to do. How did you know to calm her down?"

Kate shrugged her shoulders and laughed briefly. "When I was younger I had dislocated my shoulder while running. A boy not too older than me found me and actually popped it back in to place. He told me to keep calm. It soothes the pain."
