Catra's Pov:

Was Adora my bestfriend when I was a kid?
Yes,yes she was.
But things change,people change.
She changed.

She picked her shiny friends before she ever picked me.
And so seeing disappointment and hurt In her eyes feels like an even bigger victory than just hordak having her here.

"You don't mean that Catra" Adora says getting me out of my own thoughts.

"Yes,Adora I mean that.You know I do so if you think I'll ever let you go back to your shiny life you're wrong." I say truly meaning it.I think.

"I wasn't actually thinking that" Adora smirks at me.SHE smirks at ME.

"I'm gonna wipe that smirk off of your face with my claws" I angrily spew words out of my mouth.

"You're all bark no bite.Respectfully"

"Comparing me to a dog is actually pretty disrespectful" I find myself compressing a laugh.
I haven't done that in a long long time.

"GET AWAY FROM THE PRISONER" a guard yells so hard it actually startles me.

"See you later then Princess" I manage to say before having to run as fast as I can so I don't get caught.

Adora's Pov

As a guard approaches me with some food all I can think about was Catra.

Not that I cared much for her but had she literally risked her nine lives to talk to me?

Thoughts consume my head almost as fast as I consume this food.

Damn I am hungry.

Catra is such a dumbass tho.
Why would she risk getting punished by Hordak to talk to me?

Sometimes her cat brain works in mysterious ways.
That's how she was as a kid aswell.

Impulsive and unwielding to good and plain common sense.

As I think about it I start to doze off.
I feel wierd and dizzy.

"Oh they've put something on my food" was the last thing I could think of before collapsing on the ground.
