Catra's Pov

Talking to Scorpia was not as hard as I usually made it out to be.

Especially not when I was using her to distract the guards.

None of us were allowed to even be near Adoras cell.Which was annoying as I was certainly not planning on letting her go.

And I didn't particularly wanna see her or anything,I just wanted to see her losing face.
I wanted to know if her blue eyes still darkened when she lost.

While Scorpia talked my ears off she finally caught on
"Wait,Catra.
You could've just told me you wanted to see Adora i would've distracted the guards for you"
"SHUSH shhhh keep your voice down Scorpia"-I whispered as she yelled the slightest bit.
-"I DONT wanna see her and I certainly don't need you to distract anyone"

Scorpia simply looked at me and nodded.
She then went up to some guards and started talking THEIR ears off. "What a relief "-I thought to myself.

She gave me a slight smile and I understood what she meant.

I ran straight to the northern cells.

Adora's Pov

Being captured by the Horde was one thing.
But being captured by Catra was a whole other game.

And I didn't wanna play it.

I had been stuck on this godforsaken cell for hours with no one even showing up.

Suddenly I heard footsteps and immediately got up.

"Hey,Adora."a voice emerges from the shadows and straight to my ears.
That voice.
I'd recognise it anywhere.

"Catra." I merely whisper her name as if it's some forbidden magic spell.

"Fancy seeing you here" she says in that sarcastic tone she always uses when she knows she's winning.

"It's not like I have much of a choice now Catra do i."
I chuckle away the doubt in my voice.

"It took you a whole army of robots to get me then huh? No wonder why Shadow Weaver never trusted you. You were never good enough"

A tear almost dares to escape her eye.

Maybe I should've not said that to her but then again I'm being held captive by the one person I thought was my only saviour back in the Horde days.

"Adora this bad girl act doesn't work for you and you suck at acting we both know that.

You chose the princesses over me.

Again and Again and Again.
It was never me for you."

"I was never your bestfriend and I will never be"

Her words caught me off guard.Leave it to Catra to break an already broken heart.
