The eight Digidestined and their Digimon tumbled from the cliff, they plunged toward the rushing river below. Biyomon, Tentomon, and Patamon instinctively soared toward their partners, desperately trying to catch them.

"Izzy!" Tentomon called out, wings buzzing as he sped downward.

"T.K.!" Patamon shouted, flapping his bat-like ears to keep pace. All three Digimon tried their hardest to slow their partners' fall, but the humans proved to be too heavy to carry alone.

Meanwhile, Palmon extended her vine-like arms, wrapping one securely around Mimi's waist. She managed to grab onto a nearby rock with her other vine, holding on for a moment. But before they could catch their breath, the rock crumbled and broke free from the cliff, sending them both plummeting down alongside everyone else.

Joe and Gomamon were the first to hit the water with a splash.

[Name] clung to Renamon, screaming in panic as they hurtled toward the water. Renamon wrapped them tightly in her arms, pulling them close to her chest. "Are we going to die!?" [Name] shouted, their face buried in Renamon's fur.

"Not if I have any say!" Renamon replied with fierce determination. She twisted her body mid-air and managed to reach for the rocks along the cliffside, clawing at the stones. But the cliff's edge was fragile and crumbled under their weight, sending them down into the river along with the others.

Just as the other children were about to hit the water, Gomamon shouted, "Fish Bed!" A school of colorful fish appeared, swimming together and forming a large, bouncy raft beneath everyone just before they hit the water.

[Name] landed with a soft thud on the fish raft, gasping in relief. Renamon quickly sat down, wrapping [Name] protectively in her lap.

"Thank god," [Name] muttered, exhaling as they hugged Renamon back.

Renamon pressed her head gently to theirs. "I am so glad you are okay," she whispered, relief flooding her voice.

"Me too," [Name] replied, reaching up to place a comforting hand on her head. "I really thought we were done for." They did not want to die in a place like this. No offense to Renamon, but they would prefer dying after living for a long time. Morbid thoughts for someone their age, but watching so many things made them really think about it.

"Wow, this is some ride," Tai sighed in relief, holding Agumon tightly under his arm as they drifted along the river on the fish raft.

"Let's not do that again," [Name] said firmly, earning nods of agreement from the rest of the group, who looked equally shaken.

"Hey... look out!" Matt suddenly shouted, pointing upward. Above them, the cliff was beginning to break apart, sending chunks of rock tumbling down straight toward the group.

"Oh, come on!" [Name] groaned, frustration clear in their voice. Renamon's eyes narrowed as she focused, her claws flexing and glinting in the sunlight as she mentally prepared to slice the rocks if needed.

"Go!" Gomamon yelled to the fish beneath them, and in response, the fish sped up, carrying everyone swiftly across the water. As the cliff rocks and Kuwagamon plunged into the river behind them, the splash created a massive wave. The wave grew rapidly, catching up to them in no time, and with one huge push, it launched them from the water and flung them onto dry land.

Matt got to his feet, brushing himself off with an awkward grin. "I knew we'd be okay," he said, trying to sound confident despite his nervous expression. "I wasn't worried."

"Sure, Matt. Sure," [Name] replied, rolling their eyes at his bravado. They stood up and looked at their arms and legs for any sign of injuries. Matt huffed in response, while T.K. giggled at [Name]'s playful remark.
