OUTERBANKS | season one, episode one chapter two: breaking bad
SINCE THERE WAS a hurricane last night, the coast guard's office was completely packed with people complaining. Cami politely excuses herself as she pushed past people. JJ pushes her, making her slap his arm so he would stop.
"Excuse me," John B tries to get the coast guard's attention. He pursed his lips when he didn't budge, seeing that the couple that was complaining about their diabetic dog seemed like a bigger problem than a boat sunk.
"Hey man, we found a boat." JJ tries to help John B but it was also useless.
Cami rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Excuse me, sir—"
"Hey!" He snapped. "Calm down."
JJ and Cami shared a look before John B lost his patience and grabbed both of their arms, walking away. Pope and Kie waited outside for them, furrowing their brows when they saw the three come out earlier than expected.
"So, what's the plan?" JJ questioned.
John B grabs the motel key from his pocket. "I think I know how we're gonna find out who owns the boat."
"No, no. We don't know whose room that is. It could belong yo anyone." Pope scolded him, face falling at John B's words.
Cami wrapped her arm around the boy with a mischievous smile. "Loosen up good old Pope! It's ab adventure! I'm in."
"Me too." JJ agrees.
Kie shared a mischievous smile with Cami before looking at Pope with a pleading look. "Come on. We'll be on the lookout."
Cami laughed as she interlinked arms with Kie, walking towards the boat. "Cami, one day I'm gonna tell your parents, specifically your dad, about the crazy thoughts you put in my brain."
"Ew Pope, leave your wet thoughts to yourself." She jokes.
"That's not what I meant!"

CAMI LOOKED AT the motel which was completely trashed due to the hurricane. Who would ever want to stay here? It looked like it was rotting and expired.
