Joes going through a divorce with his ex wife Sophie Turner, he has 2 daughters Willa 4 and Delphine 2, it's been a long hard process finally co-parenting along side.
Joes trying to find out what love is again and will he find it?
Joe sat down on his bed, Nicks words lingering in his head over and over.
His hands hovering over the her contact.
"Should I do it?" "Is it worth it?" "Is moving on the right thing to do?" "What if-"
"Okay I need to calm down, this is the whole reason why nothing is changing around me.... Fuck it"
He grabs his phone, beginning to type away, his hands shaking in the process
Hey, Olivia. It's Joe. I hope this isn't weird, but would you want to grab lunch with me sometime?
Joe stares at the text my hand still hovering over the return button, wait wait let's change the I hope this isn't weird part. That's what will make it weird.
Hey, Olivia. It's Joe. Would you want to grab lunch with me sometime?
It just didn't feel right. Joe dropped his phone on the bed, letting out a sigh. Why was this so hard?
He takes a deep breath and tries again, grabbing his phone again and going back to messages.
Hey, Olivia. It's Joe. Thanks for the talk the other night, it helped more than you know. If you're free, maybe we could meet up?
He read it over and over until he found the courage to press send, tossing his phone to the side feeling so many emotions at once.
Few minutes later, his phone buzzed. Causing his stomach to flip. He slowly turns the phone around and unlocks it.
Olivia: Hey joe! It's good to hear from you again. I'd love to go get some lunch. How about tomorrow? I'm free all day.
He lets out a breath, he didnt realise he was holding. A small smirk creeping onto his face.

He hits send.

The next morning, Joe gets up earlier than usual. Taking a step into the shower, letting the cold water fall down his body.
After finishing up he gets dressed into something casual, taking a selfie and posting it to his Instagram.

He turns his phone off, checking himself one more time before heading through the door, leaving the apartment complex.
He puts the location in on his phone and starts driving to her house.
30 minutes later Joe finally arrives, getting out his car and knocking on the door.
The door creaks open, seeing her standing there.
Her hair not too short but not too long, the way her body is curvy in all the right places.
Snap out of it joe!
"Hey." He lets out, "You ready to go?" As she nods, Joe pulls his hand out, unsure if she would take it.
Olivia looks at him and down to his hand, the hesitation in her eyes, connecting our hands making my anxiety shift away.
JOESPOV We make it to the car, opening the side of her door before returning to mine.
"So.. where would you like to go?" I question, looking at her for a split second.
She licks her lips, turning to the side so she's looking at me "I mean, I don't mind anything really, after all you did suggest to go out for lunch. You can choose"
I nod, trying to figure where to go and what she would like.
I pass her my phone, "You can put my Spotify on. I'll let you be the DJ for this ride." I smirk beginning to drive.
She grabs the phone, putting on my Bluetooth and connecting my phone.
"How about something cool?" She asks, making me raise my eyebrows, my eyes on the road.

I let out a loud laugh, "You're funny, you know that?"
"What!!! It's a good song don't you think, I mean whoever these people are they do sound good." She says pretending like she doesn't who is singing it.
I shake my head, smiling.
"Wait!" She says, startling me as I continue to focus on the road.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you, i was wondering if I can use your phone to take a picture of you? I mean you look kinda good right now," the last part, she says quieter
Suddenly my lips curve into a smirk, "Yeah, you can do it"
I hear a click, assuming she already took the picture.

"Wow..." she breathes, her words softer than before.
"What?" I question, wondering the sudden change in her voice.
"I uh- I meant wow the lightening is good on the photo" I could tell, she wasn't saying the truth at all.
I let out a chuckle.
"Whaaaat???" She whines, making me turn to look at her for a split second, seeing a pout on her face, before putting my eyes back on the road.
"You know, if you find me attractive you can say." I blurt out.
