3 Years Later

After a peaceful night's sleep, he half-opened his eyes early in the morning and looked to his side. Not seeing him there, he yawned and turned his head the other way. He smiled at the view through the billowing curtains caused by the wind. He lay in bed for a while, enjoying the start of his day, before getting up. He walked through the curtains onto the balcony and approached Harry, who was leaning against the railing, enjoying the view. Wrapping his arms around Harry's waist, he rested his head on his shoulder after planting a long kiss on his neck.

"Good morning," he murmured sleepily.

Harry smiled. "Good morning."

Then they fell silent, savouring the peaceful start to their day and the morning quiet. Peace; it was the most intense feeling they had experienced for a long time. They had no major problems, worries, or fights. Everything was going remarkably well. Despite this, instead of getting used to it, they made sure to enjoy every moment. Both had hit rock bottom and had lived through endless turmoil. They knew the value of peace and a life without nightmares very well. Perhaps that's why they tried not to miss a single moment. They hadn't forgotten their past and wanted to replace every bad memory with dozens of good ones.

This wasn't something they talked about; it was a state that had settled over time as they got to know each other in every way. It had been nearly three years since they graduated from Hogwarts. They had managed and cherished their relationship so well that they were living the dream they had talked about three years ago. After graduation, they started traveling the world together. Since neither wanted to be away from Teddy for long and he was too young for such trips, they began with short journeys. When Teddy turned two, they took a brave step and embarked on a six-month tour with him. As soon as they returned to England, they started renovating Sirius's old house, turning it into a pleasant place to live, and spent some time there. Then... they found this place. They had been searching for a long time but couldn't find a place that resembled their dream location, so they began making other plans. However, Hermione, with her investigative nature, had found this place, and they had been living here ever since.

"What are you thinking about?" Harry asked.

"I don't trust your memory much, but do you remember the Christmas break of our eighth year?"

Harry rolled his eyes. "Are you joking?"

"I'm serious, Harry. Answer?"

"How could I remember, it's been years-"

"Three," Draco interrupted. "It's been three years. How can you not remember?"

"It's been three years," Harry said, trying to maintain his seriousness. At least he was trying to control his voice. He felt comfortable because Draco couldn't see his face. "How could I remember the bond breaking, our separation, and then you coming to the Burrow? A whole three years."

Draco chuckled softly. "You're a jerk, but you already know that." Sighing, he continued, "You must remember the blank check you gave me."

"What?"

"The blank check. You said you'd do whatever I wanted if I wore that damn sweater."

"I remember," Harry said, laughing. "And you never used that privilege. You idiot."

"On the contrary, Potter, I was waiting for the right moment, and now I'm going to use it."

"Did you really wait three years for this? Admit it, you just remembered and want to use it now."

"You're free to think whatever you want," Draco said calmly. "But I'm smart enough not to waste such a privilege on something silly, Potter."

"Alright," Harry said, grinning. "Have it your way. What do you want? If you're going to try to cancel our visit to the Burrow next Week-"
