going over astros insecurities with this one haha

Gardenview was bustling with voices of different rooms, despite the absence of a certain flower toon. Everyone had noticed the sudden disappearance of dandy, but assumed he just abandoned them. But then, one of the many elevators opened, revealing a toon handler which appeared to be the caretaker of a Shelly. Beside her, was a flower nobody knew would return. And in some cases- some who hoped would never return.

"What happened to him?"

"Why'd he leave?"

"Where was he?"

Many toons gathered around the main area of Gardenview, mumbling different propagandas to why he left and where he went. Dandy looked shook, pale, he looked sick. Everyone was slightly worried— almost everyone. Around the back of the crowd was a certain skeptical toon.

"That flower is up to no good. He's always up to something."

"Vee— look at the state he's in! He looks too weak to even harm a fly!"

"Knowing our Dandy, the second all of you turn your backs he's already stabbed you in the gut."

Vee turned away before the lamp could say anything. There was no way she'd trust Dandy. She stepped inside an elevator separate from the rest of the toons and Brightney. They were so pathetic to even believe dandy was half innocent. She scowled at the thought of Dandy betraying them and seeing the shocked look on their faces.

Why did nobody believe her?

She had never liked Dandy. He was the only toon besides Shrimpo that she disliked. She didn't know why, but his entire personality rubbed her the wrong way. His charisma never made an effect on her. She pressed a button on the elevator that read "M"
The 'M' stood for 'main', it was pretty nice they all got their own floor and such, with different rooms assorted to their personalities and likings. Like how her room was connected to her gameshow area. He saw a glimpse of a particular moon, looking at her in worry. She was fine. Why was he looking at her like that. Vee was perfectly fine! She is perfect! No need to worry for her!

Right? She's just a robot with no feelings. She had no heart. Just a motherboard and some wires.

She opened the door that led to her gameshow. Serenity washed over her, somehow it was her favorite place to visit. She didn't know why, but it made her calm. The cool breeze of the room made her tranquil. Sometimes she'd go there when she overheated- which was rarely. Anyways, she needed to use her charging port, her battery was low.

After the center shut down, there weren't any children to visit and watch the gameshows, which meant that she had pretty much nothing to do. It was pretty nice actually. She went on a picnic with Astro, Sprout, and Pebbles. Sure she couldn't eat due to her.. screen, they said it was going to be a 'calming picnic for the mains' Oh- and Shelly was somewhere at her digsite, we assumed she was busy. Since they had nothing to do since the kids were gone. It was kind of sad seeing them have fun for the last time, knowing that Gardenview would soon run low on supplies.

Vee finally opened a compartment at the side of her head she used for charging. Plugging herself in to rest for the day. It was late.

Astro watched the robot storm into her room. Vee seemed.. off lately. She seemed to be communicating less with the other toons and sounded more snappy. He wasn't sure why.
All the toons have settled down a bit. The Gardenview that used to be bustling with energy just earlier turned empty, with many of the toons asleep. Now, a certain moon would enlighten the toons of Gardenview with pleasant dreams. The lunae strolled the halls, the still of the building calming. Astro never liked loud noises, he never really liked communicating. He liked talking with his best friends like Vee, Dandy, and Shelly. Astro actually really liked Shelly, he appreciated her rambling. Sure, he didn't like loud noises and being social but Shelly was an exception. Dandy was his friend since he was introduced into the center, and Vee was always there when he needed her, he also loved her gameshows.
