Scott Major is a prince and will be crowned king when he turns 18.

He will also be married to his friend Pearl Ecentmoon, whom he has been betrothed to since both of them were born.

Neither of them want that though.

Their family would take turns visiting each other's kingdoms.

Pearl and Scott grew close together.

So close they were willing to tell each other secrets under a moon lit sky in the southern country of Ecentmoon.

"Scott, can I tell you something?" Pearl asked, as they laid in the grass, looking up at the sky, age 13 both of them, "Something I have not told anyone."

"Yeah." Scott answered.

"Promise you won't tell anyone." Pearl said, still looking at the stars.

"I swear I wont." Scott says.

"I think I like girls." Pearl said.

"Our parents would hate us." Scott laughed, "I think I like guys."

"The problem is, our parents want us to get married to each other." Pearl sighed.

"What if we called it off, and just stay friends?" Scott asked.

The problem was their parents said no.

Neither teen told their parents they were gay.

It was a secret they held between each other.

Scott started sneaking out when he was sixteen.

The blue haired teen would explore the woods.

One warmish day towards the middle of winter he found an small filed in the middle of a clearing in the woods.

The closet thing to it other than the woods was a small ranch, so it was just him and nature.

Scott started bringing a sketch book with him in a satchel with some food, water, and drawing utensils.

He would sketch the floral life around him, and even some animals that would wander into the clearing.

One day he even was able to draw a deer as it ate some leaves off a bush.

The drawing of the doe has always been one of his favorites.

His 17th birthday came, and the next week after the celebration he was back in the clearing, drawing.

With spring the clearing exploded in coulored flowers.

It's safe to say the new coulored pencils Scott got for his birthday were being put to good use.

About two weeks after his birthday Scott walks through the woods, his leather satchel at his side as he treks through his path through the woods.

He hears carefree laughing coming from where the clearing is.

The prince carefully walks to the edge of the tree clearing.

As he hides behind a tree he sees who has to be the most breath takingly gorgeous boy he has ever seen.

The boy frolics through the multi coulored flowers, a smile on his face, giggles coming from his lips as a warm spring breeze blows through his fluffy blond hair.

It was in that moment Scott developed his first crush.
