As I wrapped up my assignment with Jimin and Sharon via video call, Momma entered my room.

"Y/N, after consulting with Mr. and Mrs. Kim, we've decided to have your engagement party next Friday night," she announced.

I nodded, trying to process the sudden news.

"We'll discuss the details later, okay?" I said, dismissing Momma.

As soon as she left, Sharon's mischievous grin filled the screen.

"Looks like someone's getting engaged?!" Sharon teased.

Jimin chimed in, "Now our friend will be someone else's! Sharon, looks like we'll be hanging out alone."

I closed my eyes, laughing.

"GUYS!!!" I shouted, exasperated.

Our laughter filled the room, echoing through the video call.

Sharon's voice cut through the laughter, "Spill the tea, Y/N! How fast did your relationship upgraded with professor Kim?"

Jimin's curious face appeared on screen.

I blushed, "Guys, stop!" I paused for few breaths.

"There's nothing like a relationship between us to begin in the first place. It was all arranged, you've been known. It's just that how he treated me when my ankle sprained, showed me that I can trust him, my parents are not wrong about this and after all it was my grandmother's wish."

Sharon and Jimin's expressions softened listening to me. Later in the night after dinner and all, I laid in my bed staring at the ceiling above, cool breeze hitting in through the window opened.

I turned towards the window watching how moon's light was penetrating through the window in the room casting a silver glow.

I admired the moon, reminiscing about my grandmother. Her picture played in my mind making me revisit the childhood. I didn't knew it was one of her wishes to see me getting married to him.

Grandmother must have seen Taehyung before me. She knew him before I did and she must have seen through him something that she settled on making this wish.

The next day, my friends and I rehearsed our presentation lines, perfecting our delivery. Seyeon walked by our table, her eyes scanning our notes. She stepped back, placing her hand on the desk, and we paused.

"If you're done inspecting, may we continue?" Sharon asked, her tone laced with sarcasm. "We have more important things to do than chat."

Seyeon shot me a fierce glance before moving to her desk.

Professor Kim entered the class, his presence commanding attention. "Alright, let's begin presentations. Next group, please."

Our turn arrived, and we walked confidently to the stage. I took a deep breath, launching into our well-rehearsed presentation.

Taehyung's gaze locked onto mine, his eyes piercing. My breath hitched as he listened intently, his expression unreadable.

"...and in conclusion," I finished, "technology's impact on society is multifaceted."

Taehyung nodded, his eyes never leaving mine. "Excellent presentation. Questions, class?"

The room remained silent, our message resonating.

As we stepped off the stage, Jimin and Sharon flanked me, grinning.

"Killed it!" Jimin high-fived me.
