This was it.
7:45pm.
They had fifteen minutes until their train left for Manchester. Then about another fifteen minutes on the rails and they would be able to see their new baby!
Dan could hardly stop smiling on the cab ride to the station.

"Can you believe it, Phil?" Dan exclaimed, "In no more then and hour, you and I will be dads!"

Phil was beaming. "I think I want to be called 'Papa.' How does that sound?"

"It sounds perfect! What about me? Probably just 'Dad' or 'Daddy,' right?"

"Yeah, that sounds good, seeing that you are the Baby Daddy," Phil joked.

"Ha. Ha." Dan rolled his eyes. "Very funny, but no matter how much you tease me, you're never going to be able to dampen my spirits because I'm sO FUDGING EXCITED FOR THIS BABY!!!!!" He said enthusiastically bouncing up and down in his seat.

Phil laughed, "Stop! You're going to break the seat!" He said, trying to control Dan.

Dan didn't stop completely, but he did calm down a bit (now he was only bouncing a few millimeters off of his seat.)

After about ten minutes, the cab pulled up at the Stockport Train Station's curb with an unsettling creaking sound.

The driver charged them, Phil paid, and they got out.

"And off we go!" Dan announced, taking Phil's hand and walking with him to the entrance.

"Geronimo!" Phil giggled.

"Allons-y!" Dan joined in.

They both laughed and skipped onto the platform, feeling a bit idiotic, but not caring at all.

"Okay... Okay..." Dan wheezed and melted down onto a bench. "That's enough exercise for a month, lets stop this right now."

Phil laughed and sat down next to him. "Skipping may use up a lot of energy," he agreed, "But you can't deny, it's fun!"

Dan smiled up at him from his awkward, slouchy, position.

"You do realize a bunch of dirty peasant butts have probably sat on that exact bench that you're reclining on right now, right?" Phil pointed out.

Dan screamed and jumped up, collapsing onto the floor immediately.

"Oh my god, Daniel, you lazy cow!" Phil laughed as he helped him stand back up.

"Did you just called me a cow?" Dan laughed, playfully punching his arm. "I thought I was a bear!"

Phil stuck his tongue out at him. "You're a bear when you're cute and a cow when you're lazy." He explained. "Except you did look pretty cute there... I guess that makes you a cear... a bow...?"

Dan laughed and shoulder checked him, not hard though. "You and your bloody obsession with mixing random animals! This is a problem!"

"It's not a problem," Phil contradicted, "it's a gift."

"Hey so we've got about... five more minutes of waiting," Dan observed, checking the the time on a wall clock above their heads. "How do you want to spend it?"

"Tumblr?" Phil suggested.

"My phones almost dead," Dan said, sadly.

"That's okay! We can both just use my phone!"

Dan smiled gratefully at him and moved closer so they could both look at the tiny screen.

"Do we dare look up the Phan tag?" Dan asked, clicking on the search button.

"Well..." Phil thought out loud, "I'm curious and I'm sure it's not that bad...."

"Yeah," Dan agreed, typing it in. "Let's hope there's not too much porn."

"Porn?!" Phil looked slightly disturbed. "Is there really that much porn on our tag? I mean, I kind of get it because we're an openly homosexual couple and for some reason people find that--"

"Phil, kitten, please shut up," Dan interrupted, "I'm sorry, but you have to look at this. Just look." He said, staring wide-eyed at the phone.

Phil's whole screen was filled with colorful edits and screenshots from their Goodbye video.
No porn.
No hate.
Just love. Beautiful, skillfully put together posts saying how much their fans loved and supported them. It was amazing.

Even just the little things like "So proud of my sons! <3 #Phan" were making Dan and Phil smile from ear to ear.

They always knew that the majority of their fans would approve of (and love) Phan canoning, but to actually be able to see endless scrolling of their care and support was unreal.

"I guess they really meant it when they said the Internet would explode if we came out!" Dan laughed, still somewhat shocked.

"They really are amazing fans." Phil smiled, scrolling some more, smiling more.

"Yes." Dan said, reading more posts. "Our beautiful trash babies."

Phil turned and gave him a funny look. "Why the hell are you calling them trash babies?" He chuckled.

"I don't know," Dan laughed with him, "I kind of just opened my mouth and that's what came out."

"You're an idiot." Phil teased affectionately. Their heads were already so close, he barely had to lean in to kiss Dan's nose.

"Like I said," Dan giggled, "I'm your idiot. Forever."

They locked lips for a moment that seemed to go on into infinity, but probably only lasted a few seconds, until the train pulled up and they were forced to part.

"Are you ready, Phil?" Dan smiled nervously, taking his husband's hand for comfort.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Phil smiled back and together they stepped into the train car and found their seats.

He heard Dan let out a yawn as he settled down next to the window.

"You sleepy?" Phil asked, sitting down beside him and wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

Dan leaned back onto his chest and closed his eyes. "Mm Hm," He nodded slightly.

Phil smiled down at him and ran his hand through his springy brown curls.

"My beautiful idiot." He cooed.

Dan's lips curled into a tiny smile, but Phil could tell he was mostly unconscious now.

So he decided to tell him some things.

"Dan," He sighed, laughing a bit, "Dan, Dan, Dan, oh my god. How the hell did I end up with someone as perfect as you? Do you remember back in '09 when it was all cute little flirty tweets and late night Skype sessions? I loved those. I knew from the beginning that you were there for me no matter what and that I never wanted to be without you. Of course, it wasn't until just recently that silly old me realized that that was what love is.

"But, to be honest, you really scared me earlier this year when you were being so... adventurous with girls...." Phil frowned and chewed his lower lip. "But now that I know the reason, I guess it makes sense. It's just hard for me sometimes, you know? Like, looking back on those days when I had to sleep on Chris's floor almost every night. When I didn't even feel comfortable in my own home. And I'm just kind of afraid that's going to happen again.
This baby has a mother. And she's more than likely to want to stay connected with her child and what if I end up the unwanted third wheel? What if you get closer to Linsey than you are to me? What if you don't have any time for me anymore? I mean, I don't share any of the baby's DNA and you both do.... I just don't want to be seen as a less than parent to this child. I love this kid and I've never even met them yet.
I don't know, Dan, I'm just scared." Phil signed again and bent his head down to plant a soft kiss on Dan's forehead.

"I love you and I don't want to loose you, bear."

(A/N) Hey guys! How are you? I'm pretty good (thanks for asking)
