(POV: Nanno)

The following days passed in a blur of monotony. Nanno barely paid attention in class, her mind constantly racing over the cryptic message in the letter. Who could have written it? How did they know about her past? Every time she glanced at her classmates, she wondered if one of them had the answers she was searching for. But no one seemed to know anything, and it made her feel even more isolated than usual.

She spent every free moment in the library, searching for any clue that might explain the mystery of her past. Her parents were always a topic she avoided — the ones who raised her, the ones who had disappeared when she was still too young to understand. She had no memories of them, just fleeting images and a deep, nagging feeling that something was wrong. Something she couldn't quite grasp.

It wasn't until she found an old, dusty file buried in the corner of the library's archives that the first real clue appeared.

The file was hidden behind a stack of other forgotten records, as if someone didn't want it to be found. She carefully pulled it out, dusting off the cover. The label on the folder read: "Project Pandora – Confidential".

Her fingers trembled slightly as she opened the file. Inside, there were several documents — most of them redacted, with only a few pieces of information still visible. The first page contained a photo, a blurry image of a woman holding a baby. The baby's face was obscured, but the woman's eyes — they were unmistakably familiar. They were her mother's eyes. But how could that be? Was this her real mother?

She scanned the next page, the text barely visible due to the heavy redaction. But one phrase stood out clearly:

"Subject: Nanno. Genetic Experiment. Caution: Extreme Measures Required."

Her heart pounded in her chest. Nanno. The name on her birth certificate. But this was different. A genetic experiment? Her mind raced. What was this about? Why was she a subject in something labeled "Pandora"?

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone entering the library. She quickly closed the file and stuffed it into her bag, her heartbeat loud in her ears. She didn't want anyone to see what she had uncovered — not yet. Not until she had answers.

But as she was about to leave, she caught sight of the person who had entered: a tall man in a dark suit, his face hidden behind dark sunglasses. There was something about him, something off. He didn't belong here.

The man's eyes met hers for a moment, and Nanno felt a cold shiver run down her spine. He knew she had found something. He knew she was getting closer to the truth.

Without a word, he turned and walked out of the library. Nanno stood frozen for a few seconds, her body tense. She didn't know who he was, but she knew one thing for sure: the closer she got to the truth, the more dangerous things would become.
