After I got all settled in to my...home...I asked my mom something that has been bugging me for this whole while.
"Where's Dad?" I asked her.
She frowned, "He got a new job. He's somewhere in Chicago." I furrowed my eyebrows at her answer. She seemed...hesitant?
"Mom? Are you okay?" She looked at me with glistening eyes. "Yea. I just miss him..."
I got up and hugged her. Tightly. "He'll be back soon!"
"So will Ed." My Mom whispered into my ear. Wait?! How did she know?!? "Oh yeah..I kinda looked at you phone..." My mom trailed I started laughing.
"Okay, so can I go into my room?"
"Your majesty awaits." Sarcasm is the best thing you know.
I rushed to my room to wait for Ed.

One more hour! Ed texted me saying his plane will land soon, and since the airport is close to my house I rounded the time to an hour.
One more hour til I see Ed.
With just that thought my stomach got all tingly. Ed will be here.
Wait...he doesn't know where I live...
"Hey...ummm do you know where I live?"
I texted him. Immediately I got a response.
"Google is amazing. :D -Ed"
He googled me?! I don't know how I feel about that...
I threw my phone onto my bed and got up. I needed to get clothes and shower. Ed's gonna be here! I have to look good!
I started the hot shower and got in, letting all my worries wash away and be replaced by a feeling of warm love.
By thinking of Ed.
