<Louis' POV> July 13. 6:56 am
I woke up with a sudden notice that Niall and I fell asleep after our conversation. I felt pity for that lad last night, he was basically hopeless with no family around since based on what I've heard, his family means everything to him. My family did care for me much more than Niall's family, but these past few rebellious years have been tough for me and for my family. Of course most teens have their phases at this age, but i turned out different when i was 16. I remember how i would volunteered to do chores with my mum without any hesitation and helped out my sisters with her homework and the next day, i would be screaming right at my mum face with words that i've regretted and even disappear from my house with no trace of where i went for a few days to clear my mind. I guess you can call this normal. I continued to reminisce those moments when my thoughts were set aside since my tummy started to grumble. Just in time, i heard the door unlock and open which was enough time to fake my sleepiness only to be awaken by a loud scream.
"It's 7 pm! Everybody stop what you're doing, it's time for breakfast!!" The guard was too busy texting on his phone and didn't really payed attention to us.
I was too afraid to show my freshly new face like this, so i begged the guards to let me stay in and not eat breakfast. I eventually threaten him that if he didn't let me stay, i could tell his boss that he wasn't doing his work properly so he just shrugged and left. I knew it was a weak excuse but it worked after all. I needed some time to think and process everything even though my tummy has been making unquestionable noises. I only had Niall as a friend right now, but he wasn't there in his bed. His sheets were neatly folded in place as if nobody was ever there sleeping. I couldn't just go out there and show myself to those big buff criminals. Who knows what they have done and what they could do to me.

4:00 - Lunch
There was a knock on the door to call me out for lunch. Oh great. God has answered one of the hundredths of my prayers. I forgot when was the last time i ate and i also forgot all the people who were going to be there because right now, all i care about was satisfying my hunger. I rolled my eyes just fast enough so the blonde lady who appeared to be in her 30's wouldn't have seen it. I tied up my white plain shoes with double knots and was pulled out by this one guy. He handed over some orange rags which i supposed that they were the uniform that i would be wearing.
"Greeeaaat, i fuc.king loOve the colour orange, might as well dress me as a carrot." I mumbled under my breath just low enough so that one police guy couldn't hear me, but apparently he did.
As i finished putting this hideous shit on, that same police man guided me to which seemed to be the the cafeteria. The walls were worn out and the benches were in a not-so good shape which was not pleasing for my eyes. As i walked deeper to the cafeteria, more eyes were caught staring at me and following my footsteps where ever i go; i guess they seem interested in the new guy here. (who wouldn't be interested in me though? ..)
I took a quicker pace toward the line which was almost empty and when it was my turn to get food, i then knew why. They served me some source which they called a homemade hamburger, a bag of green raisins, and some rancid orange juice. I wasn't really all that surprised with the food because i was in prison after all.
Well there goes my hunger...
I looked from side to side to find a table available to sit while keeping in mind that i probably looked like a girl in her first day of high school, but then i found this nice isolated table in the corner back of the room which was perfect for me. I turned around to seethat Mr. Payne came running down onto my way with another tray of food.
I looked at him puzzled while he was catching his breath to speak."Lo-Louis..." He said while steading his breathing.
"I forgot to mention this but you need to eat this other tray of food. Please don't ask why"
"Ok fineeee... I won't ask why.."
HOW COME??" I asked instead while smirking at my genius remark.
"Don't outsmart me mister, i'll just tell you that this was an order from the new chief of this prison. Now would you rather eat that- ... Uh whatever that is instead of this nice hot grilled cheese and soup?" He shifted his eyebrow up while waiting for my response.
"Okay.. Fine" i mumbled as i took the plate of food he offered while he walked out with the other plate of food.
I placed my tray at the table and when i sat down in the chair, i felt a rough hand grip the back of my shoulder.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing in MY table? Looking for trouble are we mate?"
I bit my lip and squeezed my eyes, he surely sounded like a guy that could cause my death.
I turned around with caution to see what was waiting for me and then i heard laughter. I opened one eye and i saw this sun kissed tan man covered with sleeves full of tattoos. He didn't look like your average guy, oh no, he was actually well fit and handsome. He had hazel brown eyes that were quite fierce and an haircut that can appeal almost anyone. He was obviously wearing the same uniform as me, but it did look much better on him than on me.
"The names' Zayn" he announced while lighting up his cigarette between his lips. There was a sign up the wall saying that the prisoners here weren't allowed to smoke here, but i guess he did it anyways while the police had an eye on him. I suggested that the police officers didn't care what we did anymore but we still had various strict rules to follow.
He puffed a few streaks of smoke and exhaled it all out which caused me to cough uncontrollably. Sure, i was used of the smell of smoke since i smoked myself but i wasn't in the mood to smell that right now. I was actually not in the mood for anything.
Zayn was still sitting there and i was surprised that he hasn't left yet. He was a cool guy and all, and i liked it.
"Thats nice, but do i care?" I smiled cheese-ily remembering that i almost forgot to answer him back. I wanted to be cool like him, so might as well blend in and be chill about it.
It seems that he wouldn't answer back to me. He just stared at me for a moment puzzled and leaned his head back while taking another hit at the cigarette. Dammit Louis, you killed it right there.
As i lowered my head in shame and exhaustion, he tapped on my shoulder and has a smile in his face.
"Mate, we still haven't finished our conversation. What's your name?"
"Louis Tomlinson" i almost whispered.
Right when Zayn was going to say something to me, Niall hopped over the back of the chair in our table to be landed on the front side of it.
"Louis, i guess you already met one of my bestest lads, Zayn. He sure is a charmer isn't he, too bad he m-"
Zayn's elbow hit Niall's arm hard and Niall groaned in pain while rubbing his elbow but soon, he dug into his pile of food which looked like a plate in all you can eat restaurant.
The table soon grew quiet so i popped the question (not the marriage one) just like i did to Niall.
"Uh Zayn, what made you come here?" I asked.
Both Niall and Zayn's head moved up to meet my gaze and i saw Niall bite his lower lip with wide eyes. Zayn just stared at me which immediately made me regret what i said.
He got my plate of food that was half way eaten and threw it at me which made the soup splash against my uniform.
"I don't wanna talk about it" was all he said and ran out of the cafeteria with all eyes caught on me.
