Dylan's POV

I'm so happy these days Adam and I had been making progress, along with good. At first it was to be just overnight. Then Karyn called Rylee last night. telling her the time extended. That she and Adam were coming on Saturday with the girls, so Adam could see Zoey.

We had spent time with the swans and just finished with a picnic lunch. Rylee and I were watching Zoey play with the red pandas. The three of them were chasing a ball. We had moved the picnic away from the lake and towards the woods. It was a lot more private.

I couldn't help but enjoy the view. I was so happy, that I lean in close whispering in her ear.

"I'm so happy, I could kiss you ." Rylee chuckles at my words,

"I think I can give you another reason to smile." I arch my brow, as I cock my head.

"Babe, what is it? I'm full of curiosity."

Rylee pulls out a small box. Rylee looks amused, as she hands it to me. I open it up, seeing a cute pair of blue baby booties. I look at Rylee, confused and stunned.

"Does this mean what I think it is?" Rylee laughs,

"There's more in the box, keep looking."

I dig through the tissue paper, finding a white stick. In a little window on it was two pink lines. I can't help but smile.

"You're pregnant?!"

Rylee nods with a wide smile, she jumps into my lap to give me a passionate Kiss. When we pull back from the kiss, I look around to see Zoey. I only see the pandas. I ask a quick question,

"Are we having a boy?" Rylee shrugs her shoulders,

"I have to say I hope so. But it's too early to know. I'll be happy no matter the gender. I want the baby to be healthy." I nod, giving Rylee a quick smile as I stand up. Rylee looks up at me,

"Rylee, pack everything up, I think Zoey ran towards the wall of trees. I'm going to go and get her with Thomas. Don't need any misunderstandings." Rylee nods, as she starts packing the picnic items. I run over to Thomas, who gives me a puzzle expression.

"What's going on, Zinn?" I cleared my throat,

"Zoey was playing with the red pandas with a ball, I think the ball rolled into the woods. I didn't want you to think I was running." Thomas nods, with a concerned expression.

"You did right to come to me. Let's go."

Thomas and I head into the woods, calling Zoey's name. There's no answer to our calls. Then I spot the color orange on the ground by a group of trees. Upon arrival, I see the ball .. and her shoes!

"Thomas! Come and see this!" I bend down to pick up Zoey's shoes. There was a hand on my shoulder,

"Dylan, don't touch! This is a crime scene. I need to call it in to David and his team." I step back, slumping down a nearby tree.

I hear Thomas take out his phone to call David, I call Rylee, who answers the phone quickly.

"Hello Dylan, did you fin Zoey? Did you find her sleeping?" I shook my head, trying to keep my tears from falling down.

"Rylee, I need you to breath. For our little one's sake." I hear Rylee sigh on the line,

"Dylan, where is she?" I so wanted to cry, hearing this question.

"Babe, I don't really know where she is. We found her shoes and the ball, but no Zoey. Thomas is calling it in. I'm waiting to see what the next move." I hear Rylee sigh with strong emotions,
