"I don't think I will ever get used to that." Wyatt said as he watched Rory and Jess make their way upstairs.

"I'm just glad he's not coming over to our house." Molly mumbled, not wanting to see Jess sat in her livingroom. She had dealt with him each time she came to the diner or stayed the night with Wyatt.

Wyatt leaned over the counter, pouting his lips and Molly gave him a quick peck before going back to the register. Luke didn't want him working with his arm, so, Molly and Ryan were still balancing shifts. They had a routine at this point, one that they were starting to like.

"He's going to Friday dinner next week, wanna go on a date that night?" Molly asked, watching his blue eyes widen at the news.

"Emily invited him over?" Wyatt asked, a grin forming as he thought of Jess trying to get around Emily. "And of course we can, where do you want to go?" Wyatt was never great at choosing their dates, which Molly knew and was okay with since he would do anything she wanted.

"Luke! Can I go?" Molly asked, not wanting to tell him while she was supposed to be working.

"Yeah, whatever." Luke waved her off, and Molly took off her apron quickly, stuffing it in a bin that she knew Luke would see it and wash it.

"Lets go to the roof." Molly reached for his hand and he took it, following her upstairs, fortunate they didn't have to face Rory and Jess as they snuck up to the roof.

Molly went up first, sitting where she always did when she got there. Wyatt got up not long after, struggling with his cast as he cussed his way up. He sat beside Molly, leaning his head on her shoulder as she reached into her pocket.

"So, you gonna tell me where we're going on our date?" Wyatt asked, and she flashed the papers she had in her pocket. He squinted at them, grabbing her wrist to bring them towards his face. "Bruins?.." Wyatt didn't know what to say when he saw the tickets in her hand.

"My grandpa got them for us." Molly said, causing Wyatt to take a better look at the tickets and where they would be sat.

"Oh, Richard Gilmore, I love you." Wyatt had been to games before, but those weren't these seats. They were right next to the bench and Wyatt wanted nothing more than to be on that bench.

"Yeah and he loves you, clearly." Molly was still amazed by the relationship between Wyatt and her grandfather.

"I love you baby, I'm so excited for this." Wyatt turned to face her, cupping her cheek in his hand and drawing her in for a kiss. Molly shoved the tickets back into her pocket, leaning into the kiss as his tongue pressed at her lips.

They didn't want to leave the moment, instead, moving closer to each other. Wyatt's hand curled in Mollys hair, his cast resting on her thigh as she sat herself on his thighs. They hadn't had much time alone since he was home, so this was igniting to them.
