"Everyone gather with your partners, each team will take turns running through the course." Mr. Williams said.

I looked around the field but I couldn't Lilly

I thought I told her 10 min

I glanced over to Emma but she wasn't with her either. Instead she was arguing with Alex.

And she think's I'm the one to not coouprate, she fucking disappear

At the entrance of the field there was a group of girls entering, maybe she was with them.

"Ladies, The practice has already started, now find your partners, don't be late next time." Mr. Williams said. He got annoyed way too easily.

Another 10 min passed and she still was nowhere in site.

Where could she have possibly gone.

Alex walked towards me.

"Shouldn't you have a partner or did you scare her off."

He had just finished the practice course.

"I don't know, I don't think she ever came out."

" Well, maybe you scared Lilly off for being a jerk to her." He said.

I glared at him.

" If anyone was a jerk it'd be her, she was shit talking to me before we partnered up."

Alex laughed.

"That's a first, I knew we'd get along." Alex said.

Since when did you get buddy buddy you've known her for like 10 min.

"Tha-" I was cut off by the sound of my name.

"Noah and Lilly."

I took one more glance around before I walked towards the starting line.

" And where is Ms. Kim?" Mr. Williams asked.

" I don't know, she didn't come out. But I can do this myself." I said

There's no point in waiting, I need to see the course if I want to practice it.

" Well the thing is Mr. Carson, this is a team course so you need another person. So I suggest you go find her." He said, sarcasm filled his voice.

Mr. Williams is quite the character.

"Alright." I responded.

I started walking back towards the school when Damian ran up next to me.

"Where are you going, did you do the course?"

" No, because my partner never showed so now I have to go find her like some fucking babysitter."

" Wow, you know I think it's a tone like that made her a no show." He said. "And can you at least try to be nice to Lilly, she's a good person you know."

Why does everyone think that I'm the problem here? And why are they all defending her.

We walked into the school and headed to our classes floor.

"Nope, no one's here." Damian said, peeking his head in the classroom.

We checked everywhere on this floor. Where is she, unless...

" The locker room." I said. That was the one place we didn't check and our last hope in finding her.

"You want to go search the girls' locker room." Damian said his voice blank
