I was going to kill Noah Carson. Who knew that after meeting his adorable younger sister and his wonderful mom that ended up like that. I was now in detention until I could get along with him, which is very irritating.

"Earth to Lilly helloo?" Emma said, waving a hand across my face.

There I go thinking about him again... more like how I'm going to kill him.

"Sorry I was kinda spaced out, what were you saying?" I said taking a bite of my sandwich.

"Well I was talking about Noah and how you guys need to sort things out before you have detention everyday and can't do things after school." Emma sighed.

When we went back to the locker rooms I told her what happened and she flipped out, but she hadn't gone off on him out of respect for his mom, but she wanted to wipe off his smug look.

" I know, already the first one back and I already have so much on my plate." I said, placing my head on the table. Within these 3 weeks of school I had to; practice my dance/song for the talent evaluation, somewhat practice the obstacle course, and I had a modeling/sponsorship thing that I needed to attend. And the cherry on top being detention with Noah till we fix our problems.

" One of us is going to have to put pride aside and make an effort, and I guess that's going to be me, because I just can't do detention everyday." I said.

"Hey if you ever need back you know where to find me." Emma said, wrapping her hands around my head.

"Heh thanks." I smiled.

My spirits felt a bit lifted so I was able to finish my lunch in peace.

Time Skip -

It was the class of the day called "Skill Set" or SS. It was where students broke off in their respective categories and practiced or did whatever they needed. In a way this was a good thing for me because there was little extra time to practice for the talent evaluation. Emma and I walked practically the same route to head to our SS class because instead she went to the winter section of the athletic building and I went to the performing arts building (aka the dance studios ect).

" Okay, well I guess I'll see you at home?" Emma said.

"Yea, because I don't know how long Mr. Williams is going to take." I sighed.

Normally Emma and I walked home together and stopped by the cafe and chatted but since today I had detention it was better to leave.

"Well good luck!" She waved to me, as she headed down the stairs.

"I'm going to need it!" I yelled back. I started walking towards the performing arts building, normally there were a lot of people, but today there weren't as many. I checked into a dance room and started to stretch. I set a time for 2 hours since that's how long I had left. Normally SS classes were the longest out of core classes because they were the most important at Thornhill, so this time was valuable to us. After I finished stretching I started doing some vocal warm ups, today I was going to do some tongue twisters.

"She sells seashells by the seashore, Betty bought butter but the butter was bitter, so Betty bought better butter to make the bitter butter better, Friendly fleas and fireflies and I slit a sheet, the sheet I slit, and on the slitted sheet I sit" I said those a couple of time not matter how ridiculous they sounded, but they really did help. After I was ready to practice, I would be dancing to either 2 songs " 2 hands" by Tate mcrae or "Mantra" by Jennie. Both were songs that I really liked. I just needed someone to judge them.So I was going to record them both and then send it to my coach who was on maternity leave currently. First I started with "2 hands" and that dance was more about dancing and kinda just feeling the music, it was also a bit more flirtatious yk. And there was "Mantra" which was more singing but kinda also the same dance concept as "2 Hands". I ran through the dances a couple dances and was ready to record, I just checked my timer and I had 30 min left. Wow, time flies. I set up my camera to record 2 hands, just as I was about to finish when someone walked in. It was Damian.

"Hey Lilly... am I interrupting you?" He asked, he look awkward.

"No, I just finished recording a video for my coach." I said taking a sip of water. "What's up?"

"Um well I wanted to talk about what happened today between you and Noah." He said.

Did he send him here to apologize?

" Noah is very sorry for what he did and he's too prideful to apologize, I'm afraid if you guys want to get out of detention you might need to start the process." Damian said, he held his head in his hand.

Hm not what I expected, but he's sorry?

"What do you mean that he is sorry?" I asked, because I know for a fact that Noah did not openly disclose that.

" Well during lunch Damian went to go talk to the janitor and get the security footage, to see if you were lying- "

"Seriously." I said unamused.

"Just wait," He said, pointing a finger at me. " After that he saw you weren't lying he went to confront Kimi, was it? And basically gave her an ear full. Then before we went to SS I saw in his computer these like sentence starters to apologize... except he kept deleting each one and saying how much he hated it. But on the bright side he knows you weren't lying."Damian said, he sounded pleased with himself.

Wow so he went through all that trouble to see if I was lying, ha! I should have seen his face when I saw I wasn't lying. And I guess he did alright talking to Kimi and dealing with that.

"Fine, I will be the first to start amends, not because I feel bad for anything but because I really need to get out of detention." I smiled.

"Great." Damian said, smiling back. "Speaking of detention don't you have to leave soon it's almost 3.45"

"Ah shit you're right, but I need to finish this recording. Do you mind recording for me?" I asked, I was in a bit of a rush since time was almost up.

"Um sure, I can do that." Damian said frantically setting his stuff down

" 1, 2,3!" I shouted. Music started to play and I did my thing, Damian was a surprisingly good cameraman. After I had finished I went to quickly glance over the footage. I noticed Damian's face was kinda red, it wasn't that hot in here.

"Are you running a fever?" I asked him while gathering all my stuff.

"Um no, why do you ask?" He said.

"Well your face is kinda red and it's not that hot in here." I said pointing to the mirror.

Damian spun around and looked at himself in the mirror.

He's so weird

"Oh, um, that's because well... you danced very and I was just surprised." He said mumbling.

"Oh well thanks!" I said slapping his shoulder, Damian was always super supported, last year too.

"Haha well, time to get going. See you tomorrow Lilly." he said, rushing out of the dance room. He's such a dork.

I got all my stuff and started to head to the main school building. I wonder how Noah is going to react, because he did find out I was telling the truth and that he yelled at me for no reason. But I guess I have to be the bigger person and stick out my hand first. I scanned my ID and started heading up stairs. I was a couple minutes early for a change. I opened the door to Mr.Williams and saw Noah in the classroom, he was starting out the window. He then turned around and faced me.

Deep breaths, remember Lilly, you're going to have to put your pride away.
