**POV: Tharun (2 years ago at the age of 18)**

Ah, another morning filled with that cosy, sleepy vibe in my room! I'm really struggling to pry myself away from those warm blankets, but I’ve got things to get done!

Of course, my stuff is missing again. I can only guess that Mom's had a little too much fun rearranging the laundry (chuckling to myself).

I’m all set to tackle the day! How about you, Mom? Ready for the challenge?

“Absolutely, dear!” Mom replied with a playful laugh.

She grabbed a rod to reach the basket stuck between the wires just below our balcony. She gave it a careful tug, but whoops! The basket slipped right off and landed right in our garden. Great—my uniform is now a mess. I've been working so hard for the last six months for this opportunity in the next city, Eleanor. If I don’t show up, I might miss my chance to shine!

“Mom, what am I supposed to do now? The basket's upside down, just like my luck right now!”

When I lifted the basket and looked inside, all I found were a couple of socks and an old shirt belonging to my dad, someone I never got the chance to know. Mom keeps these things to cherish his memory. But where on earth is my uniform?

“Mom, where did you hide my uniform? Are you teasing me?”

Just then, I noticed the old shirt’s pocket was bulging out. As I pulled at it, some coins tumbled out—it was my pocket money for the month! Mom was just having a little fun, hiding my cash in an old shirt pocket!

My mom gave me my uniform, which was safely hung in her room. I wore my uniform and stood tall to face the interview for the job. My life is gonna change, I can make my mom feel proud for this!

I called for a taxi, its engine humming softly as it pulled up outside my home, and set off to visit my mother before heading to the Bangdunk Company for my interview. The sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky, casting a warm glow that filled me with optimism for the day ahead.

As I approached the outskirts of the city, I couldn't help but notice the imposing presence of security guards stationed at the borders. The rivalry between Portsmouth and Eleanor was palpable, creating an atmosphere of tension. Yet, for the sake of career growth, my sights were firmly set on the opportunities that Eleanor offered, prompting me to continue my journey.

Upon arrival at the Bangdunk Company, I was awestruck by its towering structure, gleaming in the sunlight like a modern-day palace. The facade was adorned with large glass windows that reflected the vibrant energy of the surroundings. Entering through the innovative pull-control door, I was met with an inspiring display of portraits showcasing previous employees who had achieved great success, each one a testament to the potential found within these walls.

The office buzzed with activity; employees darted from one meeting to the next, papers fluttering in their hands and pens clamped between their teeth as they jotted down notes on the go. The atmosphere was electric, filled with determination and ambition, and I felt a wave of excitement wash over me as I realized I could soon be a part of this dynamic environment.

Suddenly, a friendly gentleman gestured for me to follow him, leading me towards the office of the boss. I could feel a surge of enthusiasm and anticipation building within me, as I envisioned the possibilities that awaited. I was determined to impress him, confident that my unique talents would shine through and leave a lasting impression.

"So, you’re Mr. Tharun, right?" the manager asked, his eyes scrutinizing me as if I were a mere product on display.

"Yes, sir. And I believe I can bring value to your team with my scripts," I replied, trying to muster confidence in my shaky voice.
